Whatever happened to those little lion thingies in FF8 anyways? I always thought they were gonna be like some kind of new sub-mascot to accompany moogles as sidekicks.
Instead they just spent about 30 minutes of the game jumping up and down making weird noises then vanished from history altogether. -

And I never really saw Zero as a sidekick, he was more a sub-main character, sort of like Shadow The Hedgehog.
