Lightning already came 3(?) times. It doesn't need to come again. If you missed it you missed it. Would I like the stuff? Sure! I missed it the first time completely, 2nd time I wasn't high enough lvl. Dunno of/about the 3rd time. But I don't have it. It's cool. But we missed it. Let it die.

I halfway expect the hairstyle to appear in the Mog Station when 3.0 launches - along with a few other items that were obtained through part of the 2.X special events list.

We havent got any event about SE there brand new game "Dragon Quest Heros" for PS3 and 4. released just 2 months ago JP, but will be released in US and EU too!
Or the so awesome remake "Final Fantasy Type Zero".

Both games are from SE - no FF14 events o_O (Im REALLY surprised we havent got an event from Type Zero! So many weapons and outfits those heros has..)

eh they can't make cross-game events, among all their titles, or there wouldn't be any originality left. you can't make every game a homage-fest.
XIV is picking stuff from other FF titles, so if anything they might put some type-0 stuff in here, but it's mostly from the bigger titles.
or should they throw in a buster sword, and SOLIDER costume, in every new FF games that comes out? ERMERGERD NOCTIS SOLDIER SAMA. (maybe in DLC, to milk some money)

Old event items like this should go in the Gold Saucer as prizes for MGP... Gives the people who didn't get it a way to get it, and doesn't just hand it out to everyone. Everyone wins, right?
