Why encounters with a difficulty slope are bad

This would be ok for Hm Ak but not for Ak. Why, Ak is still part of the relic quest line. Most players going thru for relics are just new to level 50.

Funny: Most of my friends in FCOB actually like those fights the most and think they're great.
