Pretty confident that people will be working towards capping out on week one. I see the majority of players zerging fates, much like they did when the game first launched, to get to 60 as fast as possible. Remember the +50% xp is based on your highest level. This way after they get to 60 they can go back and do all the story quests to unlock expert and start gathering the new tomestones, or go back to level other jobs. While everyone is zerging fates it seems to make sense to join them. Given that fate grinding is the fastest way to level.

This also makes me wonder about the current poetics weekly cap. Like you said, the expansion is the likely place for a new tomestone. If true, then still having a weekly cap up until the expansion makes little sense. Especially so if the loot lockout is removed from WoD.

Create a female Au Ra and check out their animations, then decide if I wanna Fantasia to it.

Well it depends on how they handle 3.0 Main Scenario since some people will enjoy 3.0 MS storyline when going through it (watching every single cutscene both not recorded and recorded) while some may just skip every single cutscene because they don't care about the story. With 3.0 MSQ planned to be long as 2.0 or longer we don't really know when the majority of players will be capping their tomes during the 1st month of 3.0.

Besides, 1st week of release is usually just the rushers.

As for Poetic cap, it most likely may be removed on 3.0 like every other even number updates and the new Tomes will be given the weekly cap.

(PS I say not recorded and recorded because not all of the 3.0 cutscenes will be recorded in the Unending Journal similar to how not all 2.0 and 2.X cutscenes are recorded in the Unending Journel currently)

Create a female au ra and run through the beginner areas story in gridania, decide if she suits me well enough to play the whole story, level to 60 whm, unlock drk, level that, level drg.. level level, get married, glamor dress to /everything/ watch all the cutscenes from the game in my dress :3 wait for more to do.
