This, luckily for me it's my day off. So provided my wife allows me, I should be able to clear through the main scenario which would include keeper of the lake and the mystery trial. After those I will go to unlocking trial and expert roulette so, WP hard, AK hard, Gilgamesh (Hildibrand) and Odin. Depending on how long all that takes the only thing left then is moogle delivery and World of Darkness.
It should be all doable in 1 day, not including farming WoD for drops and the new PvP, I have only ran the 4v4 pvp maybe 3 times and never touched frontlines so maybe I will have a look at frontlines and the new pvp the next day to break up WoD grinding lol.
At the very least unlocking trial and expert roulette and doing them should be done in a day. (16 quests, 3 trials, 3 dungeons plus one extra trial and dungeon for running the roulette)
I have a backlog of approximately eleventy-billion quests to do, so the first thing I will do on patch day is summon Jandelaine and see the new hairstyles. :p
Step 1 - Download the patch and update FFXIV
Step 2 - Log in and hope to not get hit by 90k, 2002, 1014 errors
Step 3 - Start Main Scenario
Step 4 - World of Darkness
Step 5 - Catch up
1. Go to the inn
2. Check the new hairstyles
3. Notice I've been pondering over them for an hour
4. Cancel and leave inn
5. Change mind and go back to get that new hairstyle anyway
Wanderer's Palace hm -> WoD -> other new dungeons -> MQ -> Hildebrand.
Hope I can get it all done in one evening, patch finishes at 8pm in Japan :(
my goal? Try the content before people scream at each other that it should be known how to do everything.
my only concern first day is getting main story done, before some clown shoe starts shouting spoilers in Mor Dhona. Everything else will probably be done within the week. Although if there's new crafting MH tools (again) I'll probably just blow them off until 3.0, or forever. It's already ridiculous what they put crafters through every patch
