Why does this game run better on a Mac through Wine than on a native windows 7?

I think the only thing I hate worse than Windows fanbois is Mac fanbois, and Linux fanbois trailing a close third.

Seriously, isn't anyone running the game on trusty old OS/2?

Works perfectly on Solaris and AmigaOS too. 1000% speedup.

Help! I installed on my Macbook Pro using Wine, but this is what it looks like when I try to play:

Note how in the first pic, the character doesn't show. In the second, it's obvious that the graphics aren't displaying properly.

Know of any fixes?
