Yes you're absolutely right. Obviously a rollback was never going to happen, the severity of the situation should have warranted SE to close the gap asap between the linkshell farmers and would be chance hunters who never get to see a Hunt mob because they don't have the spreadsheet link.

Love the defenders! While i agree it is only 3 hours, and i really don't care there is maintenance atm, this is 3 hour maintenace for what? The 3-4th time they had 3 hour maintenance this month? Not to mention the 7 hours for the update? Not complaining, just saying. 3 hour maintenances add up you know.

Only ones I see acting like babies are the ones who try to keep others from catching up or accomplishing goals. They are the same ones who cry when SE fixes something they break while lamenting SE broke it not them. None of us really know what SE intended neither do you. All I know is anything ppl can find to exploit or milk forces SE to adjust things. Running around all day killing mark after mark I doubt is what they intended. Having other players keep others from getting full weekly credit I doubt was intended. Milk it while you can before they do fix it. Then they can cry afterwards because I know they will.

Wth, weren't they supposed to increase the allied seals from the Hunt Board, Yoshi DID SAY THEY WOULD. What is this some kind of joke? Still 7 daily seals from dailies? I'm lately getting disappointed for moments.

I wouldn't expect that until 2.35 really... I had hopes they would do it fast, but apparently they're still thinking about it...
Unless they did change that too and it's just not listed in the notes.

Thing is for the moment dont let hunts rule your game life, it's nice to get seals when you can. I can only recommend if you see a mark unclaimed go for it, it's your right to try and kill it for full credit. If someone resets it, or harasses you, report them for griefing.

You can't ignore it because this will ruin the power balance of what's accepted among the community.

If you're not up to par for given reason, you will be scorched from head to toe from the community. If you're now expected to be i110 because getting allied seals was so easy for the upper 10%, it ruins the experience for the less fortunate.

If anything those ppl that hunted non stop from the moment it was posted "maintenence Hunt adjustments" out of fear of overkill nerfing probably feel silly for burning themselves out now. :3

This really pisses me off...
I swear the dudes that made the hunt function as it's like now should all get kicked in the rear by Godzilla.
And the ones who came up with this patch should bet shot in between their legs by a Railgun!!!

Strange, isn't it? It's almost as if they do maintenance... weekly to ensure all aspects of the game are running smoothly or something. Also, homework for tonight: go have a look at how many of those maintenances conclude half an hour or more before the original scheduled time. The three hours includes a buffer in case something else gets snarled up by their fixes; if nothing goes wrong it's usually 1.5 to 2.

Okay, so... what about the people who are in the middle ground? The people who occasionally break from the other stuff they usually do to go form a hunt party for a few hours, split up and have members searching in every zone, maybe have one guy hooked into a smaller linkshell of people likewise actively seeking out hunt mobs so they can cover more ground, and grind out a couple hundred seals in 3-4 hours of work? Players who actively combat the negativity through example, like responding to a "lol dead" shout with "Aww..." or the linke? People here love to talk and talk about the "hunt zergers" and all the casual no-skill no-lifers who "do nothing but afk by the aetheryte all day until they get told to lemming to zone+coord", what about people who actually approach this crap sensibly and at the very least are out there actively trying to track these things down? What about us, hm?
