What's stopping us from queueing without a job?

Until the day a group manages to do non-trivial content as classes, it will be deemed subpar and shunned.

It's perfectly viable to do some non-trivial content with classes already, it's just a lot harder and you need to be geared for a much higher ilvl than the equivalent job would need. That's the real issue here. The problem then is that when they add tougher content, the gap widens and you'll need yet more powerful gear to compete. They will never be on-par.

i had bray normal runs with gld's and cnj's and it never goes well

1 gladiator or marauder is totaly fine in CT and story/trials roulette since there is no use for 2 tanks you're forced to go 2-2-4, but thats because you're trying to play not in your main role.

Because as a MNK I lose 5% damage from not having Fists of Fire, 10% damage from not having Dragon Kick, my only useful AoE, and the swagness that is Shoulder Tackle. So you couldn't pay me to get me to queue as PGL.
