LEt's not msinterpret what a mount is. In the FF world a mount is something you used to flock around the world map quicker, which was always chocobos, not magitek armor, not a motorbike, but a chocobo. You definitely couldn't ride shiva's bike or odin's horse.

And even if a few of them had a sky dragon or whatever, they still had chocobos, and MOST had chocobos. There is nothing wrong with a variety of colored chocobo's and even variously armored/decorated chocobos for everyone to pick from.

Let us all stop being silly WoW fans. FF mounts = Chocobo

Other Mounts will only be "Job Specific" In which only the Job your on "Can Ride"

-Dragon Knight~ Dragon/Wyvern
-Monk-What would a Monk ride a camel? lmao
-Bard~ Magical Carpet?
-Paladin~ White Horse
- White Mage~ ?
- Black Mage~ ?

Then there's:

Rentable Chocobo's In which EVERYONE can ride (at a rental cost)

I wouldn't mind at all riding a Wyvern/Dragon or a White Horse =)

But either way Chocobo's are for everyone Don't be so bummed out because they are planning to add (JSM) Job Specific Mounts. It will give people a reason to level up other jobs so that they can ride those other mounts ( give the game more reason to play) I like the idea
