I'm enjoying all the new changes to come, but it still makes me sad that everything now spins around the BS.
We have so many minor things that needs to be fixed and has nothing to do with the BS.
A way to send/receive items/gil ?
Inviting/kicking LS members from far?
A decent search function to help create parties?
C'mon SE! You're better than that!

Regarding the UI; currently working on server and client communication system root remodeling and if this completes they should be able to work on the areas where lots question “WHY can’t they do it?” (Guessing most likely referring to stuff like search functions, linkshell functions, which should have been basic stuff)

I'm saying that in these past 3 months they could have added minor stuff like those i mentioned.
But I'm sure they will end up doing it sooner or later (past 1.20 probably lol)
And sorry Gramul, didn't mean to offend you or anything.
They already said all the missing genders would be added around the PS3 release.
They stated they'll be implementing the Server enhancements after the battle enhancements are finished. So after September/October we'll probably start seeing things such as a Mail/Delivory Box, Linkshell Management, and I believe they mentioned something about reworking the group search feature, but I'm not sure about that one.
The mail system terrifies me. I can only imagine the crapstorm of gil bought and sold on the internet when that system goes live.
As far as the art goes, if new things are indeed being modelled/retextured, post some screenshots. Give us something to get excited about.
One other thing. That awesome bubble spell that is shown multiple times in rendered videos? Where the heck is that? If the game was 1/10th as cool as it was in the those videos, I'd have nothing to say.
