90k and random lag with disconnects

This is annoying the hell out of me! It's happening when I'm afk, it's happening when I'm in a fate, it's happening when I'm in a dungeon and in raids. It's not my connection and that is 100% guaranteed.

Been unable to play for two or three days now. I get "the lobby server connection has encountered an error - 2002" every time I try to get into the game.

Thanks SE for not even telling me my post was deleted, why, or where I can find a similar topic. If I didn't stumble upon this one I would've felt like a very unsatisfied and ignored customer and would've promptly slammed the Cancel Subscription button.

I so much agree with this. I had given up when I seen the thread I posted this exact issue about was moved to "separate support" forum. I knew I wasn't the only one having this issue and seeing that just meant to me the following "Call SE..SE say your ISP..I call my ISP..my ISP say its SE". I am almost certain the lag and disconnects I was experiencing on the PS4 Beta was related to all the issues everyone has been having on the PS3 and PC Vers. Thank goodness I read through this thread in its entirety before giving up.

Until SE properly addresses and fixes this I'm cancelling my subscription. I can't play like this and I'm not giving them another penny for something that can't be played.

This is horrible I was online all day long with no dcs or 90k and then at night i got like 7 90ks in a row in between like 3 mins every one... SO ANNOYING!

I'm gonna give the benefit of a doubt and see if todays' maintenance fixes it even partially. If not then I can't play.

If the issue is down to PS4 beta players clogging up the servers then here's a suggestion - merge servers in FFXI where their populations are dropping 300 and lower and use them to expand the ones in FFXIV.

nope it didnt fix it. still doing the 90k

I was getting scared, been having net issues lately and the tech guy just replaced the modem and some cables 2 hours ago. Got a 90k in my first dungeon, but seems everything else is fast and fine. So here is to hoping it is not the new modem :P

Random 90k kicks and 2002 server lobby errors too. seem to be random and very frequent. game is almost unplayable for dungeons right now and has been for the last few days.

Gonna bump this thread because I was having no issues on Saturday. Then Sunday and Today I get hit and riddled with these issues.

I just read under the technical support forum where the "Request for information: ISPs and P2P throttling". SE has known about this issue for MONTHS! And never once directed anyone that thread. The issue everyone is having with 9000k is an issue that has been stickeyed on the main technical forums since August. So plz no one fret or feel like you are the only ones having this issue. Just go over there and see the multiples of players having this issue. I know a small weight has been lifted for me personally. Not too much of a weight because I realize SE has yet to officially address this issue for MONTHS!
