"If you die twice, you're out"

People who complain about PFs that add restrictions are equally silly. There is a reason many people don't down twintania and this subject highlights just that. Ex: why should people who can get past twister phase endure and party with people who don't know what a conflag is? Several other fights follow the same formula. When the person who added the restriction died tho that's always lols

I have to say, I'm about to get an allergy to those "moral elitists" who come to a thread stating the same obvious moral bullshit over and over again without actually thinking about the matter at all...

See, the thing is, you can't blindly defend immature, ignorant or straight up stupid people forever.

I also used to be extremly kind to all those people who were wiping whole party, I used to explain to them everything again and again (I still do it sometimes) and I never really kick anyone (I just ask them politely to leave - /tell - and explain why am I asking them to do so). But since I feel like I'm kind of responsible for the whole party I really don't want to waste time of all us anymore by tolerating someone who clearly didn't do his/her homework (you can tell damn quick if someone is just a bit unexperienced, or is completely beside the point).

Besides that, just don't join those parties, problem solved, no need to make a thread about this and spread hate this way.

I don't see anything wrong with great players seeking great players. I know personally if we wipe more than twice on any fight t5,ex primals,sunken temple of qarn, w/e, I start to get irritated ONLY if the group was premade and consisted of players supposedly competant. I guess you can call this the "elitist attitude" but there's nothing wrong with being "elitist". I don't want to wipe for an hour on a fight that is ridiculously easy. Everyone's skill, talent, and learning ability is different. This is human nature. Seeking people who share similarities with you is another part of human nature. No fight on this game is hard to me and a few friends I consistently play with. We 1 shot and at most 2shot everything every week. Coil done in 50 minutes. Why would I sit around and wipe for 6hours with a group of either noobs or just incompetent players? I won't. The bad players can grind it out with eachother, while the top end can 1shot everything together. Simple, everyone is happy.

If you join a FARM party for an EX primal, and you don't KNOW that you won't die from a mistake that is your fault, you've already given the party you joined the middle finger. I've been in farm groups for EX Titan that will do 4-5 kills with no one dying once. It's not because the people in those group are "OMG.... super-elite.. WTF... very WOW," it's because the EX primals are EASY fights once you have the slightest experience with a win. That's why the "two strikes" rules exists. The people that are skilled enough to reliably kill the EX primals will see that rule and join anyway because they are confident that they won't die. The people that complain about this rule are just butt-hurt because they're the ones dying every fight, and they miss out on free i90 weapons because the big mean people in the game won't carry them.

Well guess what, I have been playing XI for 9 years, a game where you had to be skilled & WoW (5 months) which was brainless, and introduced me to push on buttons mindlessly. This system came from WoW, along with the crappy playerbase who praise themselve out of what? Dodging 3 mechanics? lol.

We have two options that enable PF to distinguish between groups: new players welcome/let's learn the fight together and experienced players only/high level gear/you cause multiple wipes = boot.

I'd still say you have the complex since you do not realize there are actually two options yet choose to focus on one.

I have oodles of time. Please stop directing your comments at me. I am the one who joins DF Titan HM, DF primal extremes, hydra/chim, etc groups to help others. SOME people, however, actually have a more hectic real life than me and can only play so long every night. You should take their feelings into consideration.

Yeah 5 months must've given you quite a bit of experience. *roll eyes* Much of the heroic content in WoW was pretty challenging. I never saw this rampant elitism in WoW in LFD or even in LFR. The elitism was saved for PVP, of course. :D

Why don't you create PF 24/7 (let's say Titan XM) to give the noobs a chance to kill it ? Again, spending 2 hours every day in wipes against Titan XM when you already killed it 10 times isn't funny when you NEVER die first. Again, seeing the same newbie ejected for the 10th times, dying from the same WOL, running everywhere during bombs, etc is frustrating when you avoided every single landslide/WOL/bomb during the last 2 hours.

I sometimes join a PF for Titan HM. I don't care to wipe, I know when I join that I will probably wipe. I only leave when the group disbands, I don't give advices if they don't ask for and I jerk "OLOL NOOBS I R KILL XM MODE OLOL". But when I join a farming group, I expect FARMING, not TRAINING.

This is why 2-death-kick rule even exists. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to train people or not wanting to deal with other players laggy connection and if people who couldn't farm didn't join farm parties to get carried or expected others to just deal with their lag this filter wouldn't exist.

Lol... usually the people who start parties like this are good enough... Although I've seen one who died like 3 times, 2 times before heart and once after, he was just dps (mnk) so it wasn't much of a big deal to the party since we can just revive him and move on. When we weren't able to destroy the south bomb on super bombs he said, "Sorry :3". I thought it was pretty hilarious.
