Final Fantasy XIV Auto-Attack Video

I didn't notice that different music at first but that armor he uses has always been the one the GLA uses in test vids if I'm not mistaken?

Precisely, it was already said in a previous letter than battle difficulty will be increased once auto-attack is fully implemented.

All I can say is wow. Choas Blade and Riot Blade are super bad a$$ in that video. Still not sure how I'll like Auto-attack vs. Selecting normal attacks, but it definatly looks way smoother. That Gladiators (Paladin??) Guard ability after using Aegis Boon is 100% smoother when paired with auto-attack.

Is that new gear too? Those kinda look like new Jobs too

Wow...nice looking chaos thrust! O_o And w/e the glad one is. Also does one of the pugilists abilities stun now? Looks kind of what I do on lancer. Leg sweep to stun then run behind to attack his weak spot for MASSIVE damage (crit)

The Pugilist used Jarring Strike II. It stuns.

pug always had that stun skill it was jarring strike

I am not too worried about the auto attacking and haven't been for awhile since SE had advised there will be increased difficulty involved. You still have to do your special skills - you have to still pay attention. That's what matters to me. :)

So... no job system mentioned in his "rough sketch", do we have to wait until 1.20? Sigh. As cool as the new animations and auto-attack are, I haven't logged in for like 2 weeks now and with the delay of the patch/potentially underwhelming patch, I likely won't all summer.
