BLM Changes-Pretty much shafted

Very rarely. For the most part, its disruptive to your buff cycling (you dont want to spend 3 seconds casting it with umbral3 up, you risk not being able to swap with fire3 before umbral expires due to interrupts), and with my static comp, its better to let my SMN tri-disaster, since its longer duration.

In my opinion it needs something different for its effect. Bind is barely useful in this game in a PvE setting. The only things I want to Bind are monsters I feel like trolling in the open-world, or random trash in WP SR if another BLM used Sleep too much (which usually doesn't go very well, anyway). The time I use it most is when my FC are together and I feel like annoying them...

They should give it Slow or DoT (only effects I can think of that fit with an Ice attack) but not entirely sure how that would affect PvP. Slow might make tanking a bit easier again, which is why they changed the buff of RoD on BRD (I'm assuming), so who knows. I like the animation of the spell and I love the long range, I just never have a use for it.

So many people in this thread who do not seem to play BLM. :3
