Yes, 2 stacks for the shorter conflag, or you can supplement with pet CDs. You may need to sometimes use 2 stacks on a "longer" conflag due to a DPS getting conflag + another DPS getting FB and running in too early. In this case, you have 1 stack for a shorter and use pet CDs. Saving Enkindle for this phase, while you're still learning it, is important.

shouldn't you be using raging strikes before bio, miasma, and bio 2?

Kevee, can you help me? i faced with a big problem, i always 4th in parse on coil. I use standart combo like bio2 - miasma - bio - thunder - fester....
Im always behind agains any dps class, and starting to give on my smn.
Am i correct understand your combo like miasma - thunder - ruin? i test it on dummy and it just near 100 dps without fester.

Parses can't reliably track SMN at all, so don't worry about that until logging is fixed.

But for your standard combo, use Fester after Bio, not after Thunder.

You should be keeping up all DoTs as MP and the fight permits.

Again, though, do not rely on parses at all. The only reliable part of SMN that can be parsed is the pet--That is 100% accurate.

Actually never oomed on Twintania tonight. Not really sure where people are having MP issues if they manage their MP and aetherflow stacks properly.

I hope you right, cuz my raid leader think that i can do more damage, but i dont know how. Normally i have time to use fester after thunder even aetherflow in cd, or this is important to use it right after bio? I understand that thunder not count in fester stacks.
for example this is my rotation for dreadnought: raging strikes - bio2 - miasma - bio - thunder - fester - contagion - ruin - fester- ruin..... Can you tell me where is my misstake?
Do you use parse? What is your position on it against your friends dps?
Does spure and rouse stacks? Am i need to use these skills simultaneous, for max dps? I thought they must use only separate.

The main reason for using Fester prior to Thunder is that it is possible to fit in 2 Fester before your initial DoTs rotation wears off. If you use Fester after Thunder, you have to refresh Dots every time you Fester. In regard to where the position of my SMN stand compared to other Dps class, in a normal circumstances where we have same gear DL,Relic weapon, I normally stand at 2nd,3rd place.

If you use fester immediately after bio then you wont get the full buff to fester, it takes a fraction of a second for the bio effect to register. From an ABC point of view it would be optimal to cast something else between bio and fester

I once had a long argument with a Summoner about using Fester. He insisted Fester wasn't worth it and he would go OOM if he used it. He literally NEVER used Fester... It seems like the OP has the opposite problem. :( Summoner has a LOT of stuff in our arsenal. Yes, sometimes using Energy Drain is necessary... but if you HAVE to use it, make sure to do so BEFORE you are almost oom. That way, you can maintain nearly 100% DoT uptime even without the filler Ruin 1s and Festers. Needing to go into 'mana conserve mode' is not terrible for a Summoner... After all, our DoTs alone are a pretty decent chunk of our damage... and don't forget that our pet is ALWAYS hitting, too. However, going COMPLETELY oom will seriously mess up your rotation and cause your DoTs to fall off and not be refreshed. One of the most important things to remember is to use your Aetherflow on cooldown. Plan your Festers and Energy Drains ahead of time so you aren't wasting the cooldown of Aetherflow, either.

I don't know what ABC means but I can tell you you can reliably fester (if you wait for bio to apply), and lose MAYBE 0.1 seconds off your next GCD.

Majority of the time with no lag I don't notice anything at all.
