Don't Tell Others How to Play Their Jobs

This is why MMO's are kind of crap anymore. Who seriously gives a damn if someone does 400-1,000 dmg less? Are people so "serious" in a game that they stop having fun in order to min/max it and yell at those who don't?
I'm starting to see why people dislike "hardcore" players.

Summoners are the Warcraft Huntards of FFXIV.

The real question is, why are so many Summoners bads? Like Superbad. Too much FATE griding?

What is important is that I don't expect the same when using Duty Finder as I would in a group of friends.

Players who expect more than the very minimal from Duty Finder only serve to frustrate themselves and then lash out at other players.

Yeah MMOs are terrible now, because the "Casual" player population has skyrocketed and they all expect the "Hardcore" population to carry them and give them free progression/gear.

"Hardcore" = Puts time and effort into learning a class and playing it well.
"Casual" = Puts minimum amount of time into the game and expects everyone else to work harder to make up for their bad play.

This game is easy, anyone who can't spend 15 minutes on a guide post or accept constructive criticism should really stick to single player games. I will admit that some people do deliver "advice" in a mean way, but most of us "Hardcore" meanies do give nice and constructive criticism, if people don't accept it then it's their own fault for being ridiculed/excluded.

Just play the way you want OP screw what others think as long as you are not a tank or healer there really is no right or wrong way, play to have fun not to work. I play to have fun and if I run into a random retard that wants to be rude or mean I have a blank chat tab that sees no text so I dont have to read anything they say.

Elites are out in full force. There are ways to help people and what was done to the op is wrong. The game is full with super elites get use to it.

That's an extremely selfish way of thinking...even 1 DPS in a 4 man run can completely ruin the entire dungeon. So, you are saying "I refuse to take any advice or criticism at the cost of mine and other peoples time and effort." I would also assume that "Play to have fun" includes dungeons to be clean and smooth, players who stand in red circles and do less dps than the tank tend to make things not clean and smooth, hence you are not having fun due to lack of performance. I'm fine with people having fun when they play, and they should, but for MMOs fun assumes competence, if you don't have fun being a good player than play single player games where you won't piss people off.

This is great, OP is clearly wrong in his post yet there are still white knighting casuals coming to his defense. If you want to know what is wrong with the community and why there is a rift between the elite and the new, the teachers and the students, this is why. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. Even in such a clear example such as this, new players will somehow come up with a reason to justify their actions.

No wonder why the general public has trouble with Titan HM.
