Bullying should never be an acceptable form of behavior.
However, being nice does go both ways. So keep that in mind when both giving and receiving advice.
That being said here are a few tips for using DF.
Do not use DF if you want a speed run.
Do not use DF and expect a smooth run or people to know the fight/dungeon.
Do not use DF if you are not willing to explain the fight/dungeon.
Do not use DF if you are trying to avoid newbies and players who's gear isn't ilvl90.
Make a premade group or deal w/ DF in all of its glory.
I know we were all taught how to behave since we were born.
Never once were we taught that it was acceptable to be cruel to other people. -

I'm starting to see the difference in maturity levels becoming ever more apparent in the forums. There are regulars with higher maturity, some new with high maturity, and clearly many others falling into a self absorbed childish mentality. Some due to peer pressure (humpf).
First let's get some real truth down:
1. Many are falling into a group that are quickly breaking the TOS. It will be dealt with eventually. It better to take a deep breath, focus and rethink now then when it is too late.
2. No other gamer has any right to dictate to another payed customer what content they are entitled to play, including the viewing of CS content that is an aspect of the game. Harassing people bsed on it is a breach of the TOS. The only thing you can do is take a breath, let go of meaningless emotions that provide no benefit, and learn to improve on your communication skills in a positive manner.
3. Manipulating others, the game, to fit your needs, disregarding how it is designed, is also a TOS breach. Exploiting the game includes exploiting others.This includes content others can play, so further harassing them will only result in discipline against you.
4. You are no more, or less then any other player who pays a subscription and abides by terms. As long as you abide by the terms of SE. You can not create your own terms.
Nice Players are those who have a little more restraint. Typically they have enough wisdom and control over mind and self. Yet can stand their ground.
When dealing with rude, dictating, immature gamers. Do not give into their weakness. Remain calm. Clarify game structure and policy (learn it), and do not indulge in unproductive exchange of self delusional wits. Be calm, and if they continue, report them and let SE very it by logs so they see you were wise, and the other was harassing. I had to explain this to my buddy who plays my character at times. I myself as a Buddhist do not react to those who have to work through their issues, but try to affect them in a positive manner that benefits them. My young bodhisatta friend tends to fly off the handle, but he's learning. Report those that harass, let them learn from it. All people have the potential to be wise, calm, and controlled, but some simply need more cleaning out of the mind.
How to view others more clearly:
Try not to judge. Try being a compassionate leader that is both strong and wise. LEt others who are calm, collect and experienced help guide you.
We want A Realm Reborn to succeed. To improve. To expand. That takes everyone. As it exapands, we do not want to cause others to be shunned away and avoid it like a plague.
See each person playing as a friend. Sharing in the growth and adventure. Help each other grow.
Don't be quick to judge. Some people act out for other reasons. We do not know their troubles, or what causes suffering, and the need to raise them selves up above others to help compensate. There are times a bully, can quickly crumble and be harmed by words you think were just being defensive. They act tough, but in reality, are often more vulnerable then yourself.
Reflect qualities. Cause and effect. Reflecting good qualities, patience, compassion, and understanding will get all players ahead. Some times you need to carry them. Sometimes you need to be carried. You will gain far more respect as a tolerant, patient, helping player, then as a loud, rude, selfish player. When you cause good images through assisting, the effect is often a return of favor when it is needed and people will remember names.
