Now you're generalizing, and I'll ask you not to do that.
I personally have made strides to build up a community on my small server, through teaching at the dueling circle to custom matches, and eventually 8v8 matches both with and against many friends and top players. I have NEVER tried to tear down someone who's new. In fact, my first advice to many of them was that they will make mistakes, and they will lose. But it's not the mistake you make, it's how you learn from it and adapt. And from being patient and as helpful as I can, I'm happy to say Goblin had a small but flourishing PvP community WELL before the Garo event.
Secondly, you're propagating the very negative stigma that the Feast community is not helpful or inviting. Consider this: If we don't help new people, and if we in particular tear down and scare off new players, what do you think would happen to queues? Plenty of people here have show themselves to be quite reasonable, patient, and far removed from the stigmas others would be misled to believe so universally true of those of us that love PvP. Bluntly, that is an insult to players like myself and others who DO make efforts to carry ourselves better than that.
