you just dont get what people are saying. personally i've adjusted to the new playstyle.. the point is this however, if players wanted to be a caster, they would have been a blm from day 1. they are fine with less damage than other jobs, but they want to be able to run around kite shit and not have to worry as much about lag spikes (tbh bard was very very lag friendly in 2.x)

The play style is at least very dynamic. You can swap in and out of minuet whenever the fight require heavy movement. And then into minuet again.

Hopefully an overall dps gain.

You can still 100% shoot arrows while swapping in and out.

So far so good. Need to see the dps numbers before making judgements. The play style is more fluid.

any one testing new bard?he shit without wander minuet or not big lose dps and i make play without this? dont have time play 1 week...

I dont know my Dps is preety Solid right now.
Ofc you cant beat good Melees but still do decent dps.

There is a 15 second cooldown on WM now (up from 2.5s) so hope you don't have to move for those 15s.

I think the whole idea behind that change is to be able to pop right back into WM/GB without having to completely stop DPS for 3 seconds. Havent tried it yet but im assuming that cooldown starts as soon as its activated, meaning youll likely be ready to recast it again by the time you have to move and go back to being stationary. I dont think youre supposed to get out of WM every single time an AoE circle shows up under your feet either.

I like the WM buff but why the potency nerf on EA and Sidewinder? Come on SE!

Because the damage increase affects all your abilities. You may lose a little potency in special abilities, but gain a lot more on other attacks.

I'm aware of that but it wasn't necessary; we're still quite a bit under the other DPS classes.
