People who blame their equipment for their low damage in "high end contents"
One member in my FC does that but he also makes it clear he is simply teasing as he doesn't care unless its EX/Savage content.
Also would like to say I do apologize for those who find jumping quite annoying as I was told today. I didn't realize how often I do it but I use it as a form of comfortable control, like when running away from an AoE or chasing a mob I will jump to keep momentum allowing me to hit my next skill (which is a combination of Shift + button) and that doesn't work to well when running sideways when I also have auto-turn, nothing quite like tapping the skill button to immediately run back the way I am going against.
The ban system on the forums.
I feel like it's too harsh at times because anyone who can disagree with your
post, can report it, whether you were being civil and then you get banned, it's not fair.
And there is no way to appeal any bans.
Edit - Also, if you're banned on the forums, you can't do anything
related to events where you need to sign in your account here.
The fact the chat knows /p but does not get what /P means.... like we dont even ahve Caps commands right?
More pet peeves:
-Information that's not readily available in the game about something so you have to google it, like desynth reset books for example.
-Any type of ranged dps that feel like they'll catch sort of incurable disease from the boss if they don't put maximum distance between them and the boss. I mean, if you like getting coned by boss and not being in range of party wide buffs and heals, be my guest...
-People mad at "early pulling", like they were the ones who spent their time spawning the mark in the first place.
-Circular arguing on the forums. Look, unless you're debunking actual facts, if you haven't convinced the other person by your 4th post, chances are it's never gonna happen. No manner of rewording your point is going to work. Heck, by now, the person you're debating with has shifted their goal posts, like three times already just to "win".
-Faux outrage on just about anything and any level.
-People who can't wrap their heads around that sometimes, people want something out of complete desire. It has nothing to do with logic. Why do you like blue? You just do. Same thing for them.
-The word "harassment" and "toxic" now being used for anything or anyone that annoys you or better yet, that you don't agree with.
I remember the most fun I had in Castrum was when the healer was like "go big!" for that cannon section and so I pulled the first group, the alarm group (the group you can send away by hitting the switch), the back wall, and the group in front of the other cannons (so literally everything in one), HG prayed and then both healers came in spamming holy off swiftcast and the DD didn't even bother to touch a cannon since it was all dying so fast (or maybe they just wanted to hit the big ball of death). I've also done that big pull though and someone unsuspecting enters the terrorstorm not prepared to dance the sea of orange- they just evaporation lol. I generally separate those two groups out though (and let people turn the alarm off :3), since it takes a healer wanting to alt tab back into the game for a sec and I think most people queue already mentally checked out xD.
tl;dr not using cannons is more fun these days (I figure cannons at this point are for those who are new and want to give it a whirl or just don't care to hit their standard buttons, neither are wrong but I have more fun not using them). Also being parsed on MSQ is super silly.... Tips are different than being dog nose rubbed in stuff, but honestly I wouldn't care if you didn't cast a single damage spell in a MSQ dungeon with me (so long as that meant I'm in no danger of dying then lol).
Stop harassing me! :)
(/s if not obvious lol)
Ignoring some of my earlier postings (early years, where I did do that a few times lol), if I can't find a way to say something in a new different way in hopes of moving the conversation along then I figure it's time for me to leave until I can add something again. Once I hit metaphor and analogy town it's basically my last ditch attempt to share a perspective before I white flag out :P.
Just thought of a few more:
-In group content, after the boss dies. It annoys me when the healer rezzes someone and that person accepts the rez instead of running back.
-On the last boss of Akadaemia Anyder when the healer takes all the damage boost orbs from the DPS.
Rolls, I almost always roll low unless it's on something I don't want or don't care about getting.
I have never won a mount roll on relevant content, that's how bad my rolls usually are.
Same, the one time I get lucky and roll a 99 and got excited it was the Eden minion on the first clear only to find it drops every time so my group had it before the day was over. Yet let me roll a 98 on a mount and someone else, most likely the worst person in the group, roll a 99.
