Isn't lindblum the unofficial EU server? I know it is the unofficial german server because most germans are on Lindblum

Yoshi is looking into doing a NORMAL MERGE (2 servers into one) with player option to move elsewhere.

This right here has been Square Enix's downfall since the game was launched, you think the majority of JP gamers care about reused areas? Or grinding? Hell they love that stuff. What SE fails to realize is that they shunned the NA gamer with this game the biggest gaming market in the world behind EU and now look what happens. Who knows how many posts we don't read from YOSHI on JP sites??????? I really don't care where I am put in these server merges I just recently resubbed so that I can support the game. I got a feeling SE is hoping that the PS3 revamps the NA market in FFXIV because the PC version is tanking in that remark.

This one is pretty important announcement/update from YoshiP regarding server merge so going to translate this one before I start work for you guys, pretty sure Bay & Rikku will post translated one for sure.



Regarding server merge - have it where they give us info on how many people are planned on going into each server.



There is some user posts after also asking for devs to make it so they can also display how many players are in the servers from each region as well - no response on this one yet though.

Oh please if listening to their home base is their downfall, I guess the reason games by american and european studios are all essentially the same now is the downfall of listening to their base, yes?

I am very pleased that Square Enix has made this announcement. It actually renews my faith in humanity that the voice of the people can actually make a difference. Evn though this is just about an MMO people do care.

We are currently looking into making it possible to go by plan #2 which received many feadbacks and keep the merit from plan number 4.


I'm optimistic but until it's official, we're still on plan 4

Heck, I' just be happy with a recomended server list. That wouldn't require any revised server structure or anything like that.
