Don't get me wrong - I think this patch is extremely underwhelming.

That being said, the 24-man (and I guess the dungeon?) is for the casuals, Shinryu is for the mid-core, and Unending Coil is for the top percentile players.

Hildebrand and housing are for...people who enjoy that stuff?

As for me, I'm all about that bun hairstyle. Best 4.1 content, bar-none.

Looks like content to me. Some people play this game exclusively for glamour and housing.

I just hope they give that orange marker stack mechanic a rest in the upcoming patch. Its in every single fight. Give it some rest.

Speaking of. I'm happy they unified the icons and keep doing the trend
There's a marker in Ravana that players have to stack together in but in the Vault's 1st boss that same marker appears and you need to avoid that player?
FFXIV was weird.

There is a difference between content and features.

I am going to let you in on a secret: The whole damn game is virtual. Content is anything that is added to the game. Dungeon? Content. Raids? Content. Furniture? Content. PvP maps? Content. Hairstyles? Content. Do I need to go on, or has it sunk in yet? I get that there are things you don't care about, but not for a single second does that make them any less relevant as content.

There is a world of difference between "nothing/not much is going to be added in this patch that interests me" and "there is nothing going to be added in this patch". You speak for yourself and only yourself, please stop trying to speak for everyone else.

At least on the populated servers there will be a mad rush on getting those plots, barred only by the log-in queue. So, assuming everyone who gets in at once is trying to get a house--rather than the house hunters getting stuck in queue while everyone else gets in first--it will seem like Savage content for five to ten minutes. If only a few hunters get in at a time, then the houses will just be bought up, and the would-be hunters wouldn't even get to participate in the one thing they logged in to do that early morning.

So, you know, you're free to have an opinion as to whether or not that's content, but you can't decide as such for everyone else.
