Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

Grinding the fates seems tame compared to doing 270+ dungeon runs for the step after. This is also for a single weapon, so god help you if you have alts. This is the laziest content avenue I've seen in quite some time, honestly this would make a Korean F2P MMO blush. This game has been really struggling with content and this is like a cherry on top of how awkward it can be.

No one cares if its hard, people care if it's a life sucking drain you dont see outside of F2P bottom feeders. This is not challenging, this is a completely mindless and unfun grind.

If they don't want people to whine about having nothing to do, maybe they should add more meaningful things to do? It's not like we're swamped with content, here. There's little to do currently besides raid and the raiding game is pretty anemic and can be quite disheartening with four boss tiers and one difficulty mode.

Then don't do it? there is other just as good weapons you can obtain. Getting a relic is just 1 of those ways to get a strong weapon.

All the people who wished for the game to be more like FFXI, well here you go. This kinda soul crushing grind is what FFXI was all about.

What? I've been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things to do since the patch. Do I grind gathering or crafting and get into the new items? Do I go try to farm levi em? What about dailies, farming the new tomes (christ I seriously fear I won't get enough time to cap it this week)? Or smaller housekeeping stuff like trying out vanity outfits, gardening, retainer ventures, grinding old coil for gear. And all of this I have to try and fit between new coil progression, I'm glad I'm on vacation because this is taking all my free time.

You make it sound like those 4 bosses are just a weeks work of learning, so far the difficulty curve and tuning has not disappointed and has made every raid group I know go way past their normal raid times.

In my first day I got 0 atma's and you know what I didn't let it get me down.
Today I've gotten 7 but I haven't been farming it nonstop. Fate farming doesn't take priority over beast tribe quest and daily roulette. I've also stopped to do dungeons.

I know people are hating the grind but take it at a pace that's more enjoyable to you.

I stopped to do brayflox hm today and loved it <3333
I plan to switch on and off to make it feel less life sucking xD
I hear Amdapor Town is really epic too so I want to do it on my next day off from work

This is hardly a soul crushing grind. Some people already have 12. How many hours since patch? Soul crushing, please.

RNG will be RNG, some will have soul crushing experience, some won't. Currently out of like 55 FATEs still nothing. However, I am not complaining, gives me something to do!
