Yellow fields on the top and bottom of big chart on the left have a drop down arrow with all the colors listed for you to select.

Then feel the white fields witht he name of fruit as lsited to the side and the quantities only, it will do the rest and show you results on the smaller chart to the right.

One thing that got me out the loop was feeding mine 2 Pineapples, 2 Valfruit, 1 Plum. Getting a feather message after fedding the second Pineapple/Valfruit and first Plum. I've been cycling from Deepwood green, Kobold Brown, Deepwood green again.

It seems that it's not as much RNG as that there's a range variable for each color, and having gone through the same ones may not have net you the same values, even if the same color results. Your bone white may be higher in red than mine, and each fruit will spike us differently if the value is far enough apart.

Per the calculator, you should only need three plums to get to snow white.

Damn, 1 berry from Marsh Green gave me Currant purple. Guess I will try the 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 pear, 1 pear, 1 berry, 1 apple people succeeded with earlier in the thread and hope it works for me too.

Has anyone been able to get to Mole Brown yet? I've been wanting to now so bad :(

Just checked on the calculator and it's 5 pineapples, 5 valfruit and 5 plums away from loam brown.

Where are you at currently?

Otherwise try the calculator or the flow chart to get there.

the calculator thing what is the step? like is it first step i feed 10 berry then step 2 i feed 20 apples? or is it step 1 wait 6 hours then feed apple for step 2 in the and wait 6 hours?

The calculator let's you do all in one sit. Though the bigger the feed the larger the margin of error due to the colors occupying a range more than an exact value, it may levae you one or two steps behind in the end, possibly, but so far has been very accurate with large feeds as the creator posted.

I try it out and said if i feed 12 berries 10 pears and 10 apples i'll get to soot black. Do you think that a big feed?

Copy to a new workbook as it's read only otherwise and don't modify anything except white fields with name of fruits and quantities. (fruit names need to match chart on right)\

Flow chartbased on single feeds: https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/18...661/vBZmlD.png (this one recommends doing it only one fruit at a time to jump on to the next, but combined witht he calcualtor, gives you an idea of what to add for each step to your goal)

What color do you want to be from lavender purple? If you've made any recent feeds, it will tell you what you're getting next too.

Not too big and a good start depending where you're coming from. Try it out, and post result to see accuracy etc, so far it's been great help. Got me out of the loop I was stuck in and to the right color right before getting the wrong one even, as I adjusted 40 minutes before the end of feed cycle.

Ugh, I'd been trying to keep up with this thread, but seems there's another 70 pages or so since I last checked <_> So sorry if this has been brought up.

Much earlier in the thread I saw someone who got snow white and gave their formula (how many feathers messages they got). Someone else tried it and it worked for them too, 1 or 2 others I believe tried it and ended up with bone white, said they fed one more plum and it got them to snow white.


(I did take screenshots of all the fed messages but Im at work and dont have access to them so I'll try to remember the order)
1st feed

At first I fed it maybe 4 or 5 pineapples, and I got one or two feathers messages --- this gave me honey yellow.

After this I grew a bunch of doman plums and valfruit.

2nd feed

I gave it plums (I think they triggered every time in this phase) til I got 6 messages, then 10 valfruit messages, then 1 or 2 more plums. This should have matched the formula earlier for snow white, maybe going 1 plum over, and I ended up with bone white.

3rd feed

I couldn't remember whether it was plums or valfruits at the time someone said they had to give an extra of, so I gave more until it got a message for each. I tried giving it another pineapple, but it didnt give any messages. Afterwards it was still bonewhite.

4th feed

Tried to get ANOTHER message each, also tried feeding 5 more pineapples, but the pines still weren't giving any messages. I dont know if its capped or something, I usually get it each time with the other fruits.

STILL bone white.

5th feed

I'm starting to lose my mind now, Im also running out of the plums and vals I grew (I'm too broke to buy more, and too impatient to grow more). I fed it like 4 or 5 messages of plums this morning out of desperation, havent given it anything else. If he's not snow white by the time I get home tonight, I'm going to cry.

Sooo...on the chance he doesnt change colour, anyone know what I have to do from bone white to get to snow white, that I havent done already? Or what I've been doing wrong?

Rhotano Blue ---> Soot black i was in Woad blue hoping this feed would get me closer. I think it may get me to midnight blue or loam brown due to that room for error but that very close to the color i want.

I freaking give up, screw this game.. I was midnight blue followed the colour simulator and fed him 3 pineapples 1 apple and 1 pear and that shouldve gotten me Soot black... Somehow I ended up in Grape Purple W T F?

I'm trying to get myself to Mole brown, but its not on any site or that chart. Though the Chart helps in knowing what to expect things to change into

You've been adding too many things. 3 plums from bone white land you on snow white (3 plums, no matter 3 procs, as long as third procs, you got it), valfruits added to the mix then pineapples keep you on a loop of upping all but cycling back to same. According to calculator, you should have it now.

On the plus side, if you keep adding plums, no matter what, you could only go further into snow white (true white actually, but it doesn't exist in the game). Stick to plums if it fails, but let us know results so we keep checking this tool Rythea created.

It's read only. You need to go into file and select make copy. You can play with that. As I said, you can go into loam, which we know, then add 5 of each deepener or let me know where you are currently on color and I can check for you, too.

Ok I am going to try again and I got Soot black to appear on the Current Guess.. What i want to know is, do the amount of fruit i have to feed is based on the item itself or at the time I get the GROWING NEW FEATHERS message?

According to values and scale of color used, you're right, it should be soot black, but as I said, there is a range and the color scale may be different, I for one use http://www.superslothdesign.com/chocobo/

It's a tough adjustment from grape, I was on a loop with it for a long time, but try to go slowly now. Better to do little adjustments. 3 pears and 1 berry should land you in soot black, but just in case, do one of each and see if currant purple, or 2 pears for loam brown. In either case, that would be closer and if you land in those, you know what to add next.

Again, I don't recommend the big changes now.

The item itself, consider the growing new feathers message as confirmation of a color jump, but all fruits count to tip the scales towards that change.

Okay, so I am going for one of two colors (whichever is easiest, I love both).
Where I am right now: Regal Purple. 95, 42, 71

Where I want to be:
Wine Red 62, 17, 14

Shadow Blue 49, 49, 64.

I really like both of these colors and will go for whichever one would be easier to get from Regal Purple. Help please?

Ok.. So I used that calc to go from Royal Blue to soot black.. and I ended up with Abyssal Blue.. Want to get to Soot Black, Halp!

I will they the 3 pears 1 berry and see where I end up... Leave it to SE to make a system so retarded that no amount of logic can seem to decipher

Bounced around between so many greens and up into yellows at one point, had to eventually go one color change at a time using the 3xDeepening technique to lower all of the values at the same time.

That should be direct trip to mole brown. Remember there may be smaller adjustments required but it should land you close if not on it.

Loam brown is close to soot black, 2 deepeners each might do it, but yeah, at this point, adding 1 or taking one of any gives you all different options, very close territory for the variance.

You can, or do in stages. I prefer stages as it allows correcting along the way, but in any case, it will bring you the closest to mole brown which is a tough choice right now, so it's still a good idea to go for all.

Went from Midnight blue to Void blue by using mamook pears (Feather message appeared twice).
Was actually trying for Ink blue ; ;.. oh well

I got it today, using these steps (starting from default color):
10 Apples
10 Pears
10 Berries [wait 6 hours] = Halatali Yellow

Then from Halatali Yellow, I fed about 10 Berries, but I was very cautious and stopped after each Feather Growth message to check the progress. I went through Qiqirn Brown and Bark Brown before I ended up with Mole Brown. I didn't count all the growth messages though, sorry.
It's slower to wait for each growth stage to finish, but I figured that since I only needed to use Berries after Halatali Yellow, it would be safer to go step-by-step with less chance of getting a random overshoot to a darker brown. If you do end up overshooting, use Pineapples to backtrack.

After a long process of tooling around from purple to olive green, to deepwood green and finally Soot Black! Thanks to everyone who helped :) this thread rocks. See yall on Hyperion.
