Zepla: Endwalker is the Worst FFXIV Expansion I have played

You don't understand. He meant 6.5 part 2. Not 6.6. There is always a ".5 part 2" at the end of every expansion. All they do is split the MSQ for the last patch in half.

Anyone emotionally in touch with how the developers think, from seeing the patch cycles for years, listening to what they say in live letters and interviews, knows they almost never change their formulas. Whether you like it or don't like it, they are consistent.

They start planning the patches of the next expansion before that expansion even releases and they start developing those patches something like 8 months in advance and can't just suddenly announce a new one. The "6.6" that people are thinking of is typically 6.5 part 2, followed by other minor patches (6.5x) that redo seasonal events and crossovers from the past, such as probably the FF15 event.

Part of the retention loss is probably due to changes in patch cycles as well. The gaps got longer while the general content shrunk.

Yeah that's also the issues is now patches are 4-4.5 months apart with not as much content. And the content doesn't last as long.

I agree it seems they haven't learned anything. Apparently they been around since 2015 but didn't start actually playing until 2019 but i assume that they still kept up with the game and news on it in that 4 year span they didn't play. I at least hope they kept up with how the game runs and operated in that 4 year timeframe they haven't played to realize we never had a .6 patch. But there probably going to keep bringing up that that they think we will get a .6 and argue with people about it.

Its funny they liked mr happy's video just because he worded the same criticism slightly different then zepla and felt harassed and bullied by zepla because she was "too animated" with her hand movements and she looked angry with her facial expressions.

It seems he didn't even watch the whole thing and turned it off after the first 5 minutes because "she seemed to angry" from her hand movements and facial expressions. I find mr happy's personality dry at times so i would rather watch someone that's animated and expressive then someone that sounds like there depressed all the time.
