Just because the drop rates are different doesn't meant he content you are doing is different. It's also important to remember that before they nerfed Pagos people complained about crystal drop rate to.

Also NMs being "fun" is subjective. Thy don't really have any mechanics to them and tend to dye just as fast as the regular fates out in the Overworld. Actually some of the Super Boss fates in the Overworld last longer than most of the ones in Eureka.

Oh I never defend Pagos. I always said Pagos is the worst. But in Anemos, just by hitting level 20, I had enough to buy all dyable gear+weapon (since I killed Pazuzu at 19 and 20). In Pyros I pretty much had my weapon at 50 so I only needed a few logograms to get the gear. And in Hydatos, I got my RDM one weapon in 3 days and spent a lot of time in BA then got the DRK one after easily. As for Pagos, that took me more than a week because of how much I hated it.

So you see in all of these zones except Pagos, getting to the end wasn't really a problem. And I'm by no means a grinder. If I was, I would have gotten all that in day one of the content being released (Just like some players I see that are level cap or close to it on those days).

And as I said before, it's not only the drop rate, but also it's fun to do and watch the chaos that emerges when people mess up lol (Like a DRG backflipping against the owl NM in Pyros from the cliff). The open world fates are just boring. And people will always farm the one that can finish quick. I always join a map boss fate if people are doing it. Because it's fun to do compared to the rest of the map fates.

The only difference between atma and eureka zone crystal farming is one you are always progressing forward the other you have a chance to move forward

EDIT: Oh and the reward is an actual increase in weapon stats and ilv not just slightly different look

I can see that for YOU getting the weapon wasn't a problem. For me getting logograms to drop or appear in chests is a chore. I'd rather go back to looking for atmas.

If we are talking original drop atmas here

nothing in eureka has been as bad as going through both the ARR and HW relics entire questlines on release the only thing they had going for them were BiS and story which is the reverse of Euerka till Hydatos now that i think about it XD

I edited it in one of my previous posts in reply to you. If I'm only going to stay in the same spot, bash the same mobs over and over for hours hoping for good EXP from the chain. Then I would have not bothered with Eureka that much (one of the reason I didn't like Pagos cuz it was chain heavy dependent and NMs had really bad spawn rates). But as I described in my edited post, I have a couple of things that I do there that would make my gain/time much more bigger than just chaining mobs and AFKing waiting for NMs to spawn.

So in short, by properly I mean playing it in a way that maximizes your gain/time ratio.

While I agree with your point wholeheartedly, I should remind you that Eureka has been nerfed except Hydatos. The Eureka nerfs have made it a much nicer experience overall. IMO nerfed Eureka is better than nerfed zodiac/anima because it makes the content easier to the point where it is fun, whereas before it would just make a hollow experience shorter without actually changing anything.

That's true, the nerfs did help a lot and especially with Pagos. But if you compere the other three zones on release day against the nerfed zodiac/anima relics, they are still quicker and easier to get. Imagine how easier it would get without level and ilvl syncing.

I wouldn't mind Eureka... if the final relic didn't look so terrible. I'm actually hoping SE at least learned a little from this first round and uses it to improve the 5.0 version. Adding in side quests (maybe even daily ones) and various other types of things to add variation would be a good step.
