I like the effect but I'd rather it be attached to B4/umbral hearts in some way. Better to help perk up a tepid skill we already use than focusing on a completely dead skill [outside of pvp] and leaving B4 still a bit unsatisfactory. Plus my hotbars are all full haha.

talk about easy rotation but yet we got some many skills to fill the hotbar with. Kappa

I think if I wanted Wildfire, I'd play MCH. I'd rather not steal mechanics from other jobs to fix problems with this one when there's so many other solutions that would address the problems.

The last thing I want is another job with a Wildfire-like mechanic. Also, we're mid expantion so they won't do anything crazy with skills. Specially when it has the potential of alterating the core of a job's rotation. I've said that before and I'll say again, a simple boring potency buff in a few spells would already be enough. While BLM can get QoL stuff, its current playstyle is mostly fine.

A QoL which I think would be nice (and most likely a buff rather than just a QoL) is being able to store procs, like a max of 3 firestarters and 3 Thunderclouds. It'd help use them in a more strategic manner rather than using them as soon as they're applicable. It's probably been said before so, sorry if I missed it.

Storing procs would definitely be a nice QoL buff. As it is, thundercloud basically has to be used very quickly or it will drop off. This is completely different from SMN/RDM where their procs basically just replace a spell in their rotation (r2 or jolt). Thunder dot should last the whole rotation (instead of just a little bit of it) and/or you should be able to keep your proc for longer, similar to rdm/smn and just have it replace the hardcast T3 in your UI phase. This would just be a QoL change, and not fix that actual issue of the fact that BLM is functionally 1000 dps behind other classes like BRD/NIN/DRG because of raid buffs. Nevermind that it's 4th in personal DPS and is supposed to be a pure DPS class.

lately im befriending with other blm that is suffering the same pain as me trying to pf o4s clear. we're like cheering ea other to get a clear; as blm its really tough to find a pf. in general conception ppl dont like duplicate class in fear of not getting enough lb gauge for savages. this is so stupid since ive done and complete my first savage clears with dup blm before. and it is before we are that geared that death or two dont matter. with that said, we blm have suffer being unfavor over rdm/smn and no duplicate class too. wish the lb gauge handicap is gone and also if more blm in the party there is some synergy buff so it encourage 2blm in a party. my wishful thinking :(

You shouldn't really encourage duplicates of job in parties though. There are two reasons for you as a BLM to npot find a pug. First being, the leader locked roles as two melees and one of each ranged dps role. Second is that they completly lock BLM out. People do the first one simply because its safer, specially for a O4S that is both not a group where many people have cleared and a group of people that probably never player together. That is not really a BLM issue but a pug issue. The second happens but not really that much at PF unless its a self proclaimed "high skill" farm group. At least on Primal PF. The second one is due to job decrease in popularity and the karma of being a job that is annoying to play with.

On this PF locking subject, I've seen jobs being locked out based on the leader's job more than anything. Melee leaders tend to let double ranged happen and lock BLM out with SMN and RDM slots. BRD and MCH leaders almost every time make a slot DRG only and there are more stuff like this that you see around there, if anything just start your own party. People will lock BLM out as long we can't justify our spot in parties which is our main subject here.

If you're having issues with PF I highly consider looking for a group that will let you play BLM or try out the other caster jobs. Sadly this game is not only about on simply what you want to play, but that's any game about teams in general.

which is why i want to change so that people arent penalized for playing a dup job. it fine if they dont give a synergy skill or trait for dup but atleast remove the lb gauge thing so ppl wont have second thought to not let a dup job in. spots in pf should be open too every one.

ive beaten o2s and o3s on my first clear with another blm and yet when i asked some pf leader why lock out dup job and they say lb guage gain. i start explaining to them that at certain portion of the fight most memoriable is o3s you gain alot of lb gauge in animal farm that in lib you will always have lb3 rdy if everyone is alive and mechanic done right. then when nin/ig comes up theres always another lb3 for aoe. yet the dude dont beleive me...

i play the game because i enjoy blm. games are made to entertain us and not the other way around. i shouldnt have to play another caster just so i can enjoy the game. if so, whats the point of have classes to choose from?

If they remove the dup restrictions we end up with job stacking the most powerful jobs again. Not the best move.
