Perhaps you are like that on your server. But on Hyperion there is a boarderline elitism where people won't put you in a static unless you meet the status quo. I have wanted to leave this server but I've played on it for so long, I just don't think it would do any good to swap and expect to be "welcomed aboard" when i have no history with that community.Quote:

An easy story mode for raids? Solo raids?.......hmmmmmmmmmmm.
NAW end game raids are optional yes you pay to play but you gota work towards end game in getting tired of all demanding hand outs and that's what this thread is demanding a hand out the story is ment to be a reward for clearing end game raids.
I'm still having treble on T11 mainly because I have no static and can't get people to past adds most days. Do I complain about this...yes will I ever demand a easy story version...NO. -

People seem to forget most games recently offer different modes, one of them always being easy, story-mode driven. A good game to demonstrate this is Mass Effect. A lot of people who love the lore of this game are casual players. So why not? Why does it effect you>?
Story Mode = No loot, just cutscenes. Kind of like Primal Easys. They could be the way to train the newer folks to delve into the fight.
Coil was originally meant to be the final dungeon. The End of ends, coming from someone who beat Turn 5 before all the echo was introduced etc. I could see why you guys don't want this to happen. But with the new expansion coming out I really doubt Coil will stand as the big bad. Perhaps then if they add the story mode you won't be so caring anymore.
Also I am to blame perhaps it was my fault for quitting the game for a bit to get more financially stable. Maybe I wouldn't have missed the static team from turn 8 and on. But you know what, I feel like I did good. I was out of the shitty place I was in before. Maybe hardcore players will get a laugh out of this but real life called for me so I had to put the game down. I became casual, but I still yearn to see the end. Yet I can't be tied down to time schedules. So...
Forever stuck turn 8 in DF. So many bads. -

It really all comes down to the people who get that insane rush from finally beating a previously "impossible" boss vs those who could give two craps about that feeling. Some get it. Some don't. There really is no right and wrong way to enjoy the game.
However.... I do believe that certain rewards should be retained for those that overcome certain obstacles. Whether they be raid-based, crafting-based, grind-based, etc. -
