Seriously just give us hrothgar interexchangable hairstyles or something like a cool mane?
Modders do a better job.. I'm just disappointed at this point.

I'm reminded of the degradation of TERA... where they kept adding cash shop items that smashed the Amani female's distinctive weird clawed elephant feet down into normal legs in high heels. Ouch! Also, Hrothgar bad prank aside, I'd be surprised if viera get more than one or two 'legacy' hairstyles complete with massive 5head.

i will not be surprised if they add just two hair for FEMALE viera, just because they only showed females in live letter

Not even I can defend this... I hope they rectify this in the future and we get the ears back, even if they clip.

I'm disappointed and frustrated at this point. They didn't have any single care or thoughts put into the Hrothgars hairstyles. These hairs just suck and the no ear makes it even worse. Do better and actually make a decent hair for the love of hell.

clipping is an extremely lazy excuse at this point. Hrothgar have been around for THREE YEARS. if they cant figure out a way to get past clipping at this point, they shouldn't have made the race at all since it's clear they don't care enough to bring on someone who can.

Hell they could PAY some of the modders out there to do this for them since there are countless mods that accomplish this and more.

I really hope for all the Hrothgar players that this is just some really horrible april fools joke and that we get the right pictures on the next day. Not only did the chop of the ears but also choose some of the (imo) worst hairstyles.

If this is not a joke then I really question how the devs could look at these pictures and be fine with it? And I dont take the "they may not like it but are pressured to release something" reason for real. They had years to do this. If that is all they come up with, then I am absolutely shocked.

I mean, you can't blame the xiv team- they're all smoke & mirrors at this point when it comes to character creator. Just use mods- the modders do a better job

Post in the hairstyle megathread, show examples of hairs you want- if you don't, just accept the ugly crapshow of hairstyles that get thrown at you. Get that thread to 800+ posts to get the devs attention.

But If you don't ask for new hairstyles and only ask for mog station/ reward hairs to be added- this is what will happen. I hope some folks believe me now.

That's what dev team said but there was an uproar of people who didn't want unique hairs- now they're caught with a surprised pikachu face because they got what they wanted, only it looks like literal trash And honestly? I'm glad. It will convince people to take these things a tad more seriously now that they've seen the outcome
