[dev1008] Petition to have Jumping implement

Jumping has it's uses, one of them being the inclusion of diversity in what you can do ie, exploration on a different axis. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action.

It sounds stupid, but at the same time I get a little giddy at the idea of being able to jump long distances in a traveling method. Think John Carter from the same titled movie that recently came out. He could jump hundreds of feet, basically one end of a city to another. If anything, make it a gear related ability, some sort of shoes that allow you to defy gravity for long bounds. Rather than a space bar mashing option given to all at one time, something to be worked for by those who really want it and ignored by those who dont. Of course you cant ignore all the people jumping around on your screen, but honestly, what or how is it hurting you if they are?

That all depends on if they actually take that into consideration with the level design. In the current world, it would just be awkward. Especially coming upon cliffs.
Honestly, I think a Zelda style auto-jump would work just fine.

Wow this is so true, because MMOs that have jump don't have cliffs. Everyone knows that!

If you want to jump so bad, try dragoon! Massive jump there lol

It is confirmed for sometime after 2.0. It won't be available as 2.0 comes out (unless the planning changed).
