Then FIX the system so it IS easy to sort. The game uses Unicode text encoding, and there's an existing standard for sorting and comparing unicode strings.

I know it's in English, and the developers aren't fluent in English. Never the less, it is a start.

By the way, when you bring up the auto-tranlation suggestions to complete a term, the generated list is alphabetically sorted. Perhaps you can use that to help you sort the list.

I would like to request something for easier dealing with RMT spam:

The ability to automatically (or with a pop up confirmation window) remove someone from your friends list or decline their friends request when you add them to your black list.

I'm aware it can be macroed but new players in particular are unlikely to be familiar with the macro system in general and they're getting harassed from the moment they make their first character before they're even out of the walking/talking tutorial.

Blacklisting should not be able to be blocked by a friends list request the way the RMT's are currently abusing them.

Please for the love of god change weekly content lockout on coil to a weekly loot lockout ala ST.

Allow the FC leader to buy public domain personal rooms, separate from his or her's personal quarters. By public domain I mean that the room's access, decoration priveleges and the like would be set to the overall house's settings. This I feel would greatly reduce the problem Eorzea currently faces, hot tubs in basements.

We in my FC have sort of done this. We are going to use alts to buy rooms, one to be a War Room, another a bath house, and so on. But it would be simpler if we could just make "all fc access" rooms.

Gardening is great and all but when you have 3 large garden patches to fertilize, it becomes a tedious thing to do, i.e.:

24x
1. Right-Click garden bed.
2. Status pop-up -> Left-Click
3. Select action (Fertilize)-> Left-Click
4. Inventory pop-up -> Right-Click fish meal
5. Context menu pop -> Left-Click fertilize

That's 120 mouse clicks...

I think some of these steps could be merged, like:

A. Merge pop-ups #2 and #3, i.e. include the status in the the text box of the action selection pop-up.

B. Make it possible to simply Left-Click the fish meal to fertilize when the inventory pops-up. You already have the context since all other items are unavailable so it shouldn't be much trouble to manage a left-click in that context.

Something like this would reduce the number of mouse clicks down to 3 per bed, 24 per large garden patch, 72 for 3 patches.

Actually, I think it should auto fertilize when you click fertilize on the plant since there is only one fertiliser available...

The Enquire Within portrait of Hildibrand and Nashu is a bit small. Can we have it bigger? It doesn't do them justice!

Regarding the feature that limits how many player characters are displayed in crowds for improved performance, please change it so that party members and people on our friends list get priority. There are times when I can't heal party members during hunts because they're not loaded and I can't select them.

For the love of The Twelve, can we have the marketboard update itself after each purchase? When you need to buy 80 hardened sap and all of them are in 1 stack, you have to go back one window for all 80 purchases, re clicking the item for all 80 purchases, instead of just staying in the item window and keep buying.

As of right now, purchasing items goes like:
Step 1: Find Item
Step 2: Click Item (hardened sap e.g.)
Step 3: From the (hardened sap e.g.) sub window, choose which to buy.
Step 4: Confirm purchase.
Step 5: Reset.
Step 6: Repeat step two for more transactions.

When it should be:
Step 1: Find Item
Step 2: Click Item (hardened sap e.g.)
Step 3: From the (hardened sap e.g.) sub window, choose which to buy.
Step 4: Confirm Purchase.
Step 5: Repeat step 3 for more transactions. (staying in the sub window saves a crap load of time, and sanity)

LSs in game are currently INCREDIBLY difficult to manage. Most functional LSs (hunts, social LSs, frontlines) die under their own weight after a period of time because there is NO WAY to track who is still active. They are filled with inactives that are hard to identify and therefore remove. We NEED "last log in" tags for LS members. While many people are asking for an increase to LS capacity, it would actually worsen the ability for LS organizers to manage their members if we don't have the resources to see who is active (imagine maxing out a 512 member LS and having to figure out who to boot to make room).

Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a reconsideration on additional LS support? PLEASE? This is a QoL change that would significantly benefit the social environment for this game (allow for better non-FC exclusive player mingling).

UI changes and mods that need to happen:

• Adding 3X4 box hotbars; this would help those of us using MMO mice.
  
• Adding more hotbars
  
• Custom length hotbars (more buttons)
  
• Option to sync all character UIs to a main character on the account
  
• Separate DoH UI, to optimize the position and scale of hotbars for this very different activity

These two could be combined into a single feature for saving UI layouts and loading saved UI layouts (and they're both good reasons for wanting such a feature).

I for one would like to see Gearsets to be able to change their icons ala macros with the inital system (No, numbers or cooldown. The only difference would be that the addition of PvP icons and maybe Arcanist/Scholar/Summoner and Rogue/Ninja icons)

At the very least. it can clear up 2 rows of macros

It is really annoying when watering plants that you have to retarget the plants all over again after watering. If you pick a plant to water, can we please remain targetted on that same plant when we're done watering?

Auto-Hide chat log

Show Cross/hotbar only when weapon drawn (the current setting is only while pressed, which is kind of silly, i think it would make more since for it to coincide with pressing and weapon being drawn.)

"Standard Movement" Camera, character takes small steps while turning, instead of sliding around (even in any /cpose position.)

Loop all music. (You did it with Pharos do it with everything. Or at least make it an option.)

Male Miqo'te default stance correct the tails position so that it matches up with the tail spot on gear. (Also make sure when implementing new gear there is a tail spot.)

(This is Final Fantasy, i personally play Final Fantasy for the quality. I know Yoshi pushes for quantity but you can spend just a little more effort in these very small things i believe. thank you.)

Not sure if it's been asked before but could we please get the legacy tattoo to be account wide? The chocobo already is and I'm sad my new character can't have it. :(

With some kind of power, we can alter the items that a retainer has, both the things you can withdraw and deposit as well as market board listings when they are "occupied". But somehow, when it comes to gear, it's suddenly unavailale. :(

Can we equip/unequip gear on our lovely retainers when they are occupied, as we do with withdrawing, depositing and sales?

I believe the potential issue with this is that gear has an effect on what the retainer brings home. Better gear = a better chance at rarer items. If you get the last piece of gear to push the retainer's iLvl up to the next tier, should the items brought back represent the original gear or the updated gear level? I think the item should be chosen the instant the venture is selected (if it isn't already) and that would mean the new gear wouldn't have any effect on that run, but at the same time you won't have the bad memory sequences I ran into often of "send the retainer off, remember just after he's gone that I had something new for him to wear, try to remember next time, forget next time, rinse and repeat for a few days...".

Definitely no problems with that at all! Similar to your experience, I get an item my retainer can use, retainer is still in a venture, I tell myself I'll do it later, I forget, I run a dungeon/raid some other time, that same item drops and I can't roll on it cause I still have it in my bags cause I didn't put it on my retainer.

People would abuse that. Equip a retainer with HA/soldiery and make it 110, send it for a venture and get back your gear and wear it yourself again, everytime.

Easy to give it restrictions too. Every part of the game has restrictions. But to name a few that just popped into my head:
1. End reward is based on initial ilvl or final decreased ilvl achieved.
2. Any action that increases ilvl/gathering/etc of a retainer during the venture will have no effect. Subsequent changes will take effect on the next venture assigned.
3. Any action that decreases ilvl/gathering/etc of a retainer during the venture will affect the result. The end reward will be based on the lowest ilvl achieved in the duration of the venture.

But... what's the point in accesing your retainer gear when it's in a venture then? why would you want to be able to do it.

As me and mbncd said, it's forgetting to equip items to retainers. 15 hours later after the venture, you'd forgotten again. I really don't mind if the changes don't take effect immediately, I just want to know that it's done and placed where it needs to be placed XD

EDIT: Also I remembered that my friend was really excited that they came across some of the new dyes and wanted to dye some of the retainer stuff. It'd be nice to be able to unequip for a second, dye, then re-equip. Or just be able to dye in the actual retainer window really like we do with ours. Same with glamour, both unavailable while venturing.

I wish we can get a glamour book. It should work like the journal book at the inn room for cut scenes. Once you obtain an item, you will unlock the skin of the item in the glamour book. You can then glamour onto selected gears just like how we are doing now, the difference is that now we do it from the book and hence no longer have to preserve the physical items, which really helps out on the inventory issue as we get more jobs and gears down the road. This also solve the issue of multi-stages items like relics and levi weapons. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one around who wish I can "turn off" the glowing effect or retain another color instead.

While I'm at this, may I also request to remove the "grades" between the glamour prism? It really serve no purpose beside being another source of annoyance really...

Let us change jobs without having to exit the crafting screen!.

It's good to have "try on" option on items but it will be better if we can right click and try on equipment on the loot window too. I want to see how does it look before greed/needing for it (mostly Syrcus Tower stuffs).

Please give players an account warehouse. Some of us use alts(which is why we pay a higher subscription), and it would be really nice to have an account warehouse to keep some of our stuff on to use on other characters.

Awesome news Heavensward feels crazy , I will be online for sure for the spring :). Have some thoughts -
-1-Hunts-is it possible to change claim system for hunts , for example ,maybe S hunt should be claimed by 3 party leaders before it may be attackable or making announcement on main chat when it is claimed , or maybe have 1 min cool down after it claimed before it may be attackable . I personally want it to be fun and furious and don't really like my suggestions, I just want to point some things .
-2-Crafting FC housing area- is it possible to make crafting statues or founts or else in housing area, not in fc house area but around it on main streets or squares , for example 3 fc have to craft 3 multi star :) recepies parts, gather in a point and "redecorate' :) , it must be really hard to make I assume.
-3- single player content- dungeons and battle arena

Whm for example. You could be a cure bomber. Slower casts but major heals. A speed caster able to react quickly, with less potent heals. Mix in job abilities where you heal for lower amounts but mix in a protection ability that resists enfeebs. I would have no problem farming fates endlessly if I were working toward skilling my character up. Any mundane grind is always you building yourself up so it's much less harsh mentally.

Sphere grid in FFX was FUN but much more complicated than the FFXI stats. It's not a good excuse to forsake character depth due to complication since FFX was a widely successful game. Sure, eliminate the "complicated" parts of the mmo at lower levels. I agree to that. At higher levels, there's nothing wrong with introducing these things at that time. Those who stay for years are your true players you should cater to. I have not seen anyone that plays the game for years that begs for character development to be dumbed down. Vanity is a reflection of everyone wanting to make their character their own. Why would it not be just as popular to do the same with your abilities?

Under Character Configuration --> Log Text color --> Battle, could we have the additional options "Damage taken", "Actions Initiated by self" and "Actions initiated by Enemies"

As it is now all Actions are the same color regardless of if they are initiated by myself or my enemy which results in a hard to read at a glance battle chat log. See in the above picture that "The lightning sprite casts Thunder" and "You use Skull Sunder" are the same color text. What I would like see is "The lightning sprite casts Thunder" and "You use Skull Sunder" Because an action being used against me is bad(Red text) and me initiating an action against my enemy is good(green text)

Also the same goes for Damage taken. Damage I sustain is bad and I would like to have it displayed as a different color than damage I have inflicted on an enemy. For example as seen in the above picture; I would like the log entries "The lightning sprite takes 168 damage. You hit the lightning sprite for 126 damage." to be a different color than "You take 753 damage."

The same goes for Enhancing Effects and Enfeebling Effects, there should be different text color options for self and enemies.

I hope the SE Dev. team will consider this QoL improvement.

As you can see in my screen shot above, I have separated my battle text between 2 chat logs as a temporary fix, but I would really love to just have all my battle text on one chat log.

Seconded! I'm always sending people /tells to ask what colour their pretty birdie is...

I'd also like the option to see the name of what mounts people are riding somewhere too, whether it be in the players' examine info or whatever. I saw the bear mount for the first time a little while ago but it was hard looking up what it was and how to get it without knowing what it was called.
