Ran 1-5 last night, did my usual double Bane on spiders -> Miasma 2, then spammed Blizzard. Towards the end of the phase I burned my last Aetherflow charge on ED and Aetherflowed, put me back up practically to max mana. (I usually always burn a charge on ED in phase 1 simply to avoid running out of mana in phase 3, but with no thunder now, it may not even be necessary) Spamming Blizzard did not remotely run me out of mana.. with a good group, the AoE should be strong enough that you don't get more than 3 blizzards in before it is time for phase 2.

Yeah, I was thinking I probably wouldnt use more than 5 blizz2s. With natural regen you'd still be pretty close to max by the time aether's up. Not at T4 this week to try it out though yet

Not sure if it's just me or what but I've been noticing a (fairly rare) issue with aetherflow not activating. Specifically if I try to pop Aetherflow and immediately Fester or Bane it seems occasionally that the spell will go on cooldown but I won't gain any stacks.

Yea, occasionally you wont get aether stacks and will get the cooldown. Seen it on scholar as well. It is a brutal bug.

I've heard people mention this bug before, but I have yet to see it on either my sch or smn. Does it happen if you try to pop fester/bane after aetherflow too fast or something?

I've not had that happen at all.

Also with bane's increased range my old method of baning twice on the spiders and spiders+rooks from certain targets is no longer reliable. More often than not I end up with one-three targets without any DoTs at all on them. So what I've instead begun to do is tab over to one that didn't get any, apply all 3 and energy drain, tab to the last one, all 3 and fester, then pop M2 and use blizz2 until my MP is down to 2400 or less and use Aetherflow. Probably not needed for phase 1 since we were always several seconds ahead. I try and double bane phase 4 still and then hunt down any that didn't get baned and do the same. More MP efficient per damage imo. Though if you have a bard who can toss up ballad its less to worry about

This happens to me too, but it's not just Aetherflow. I sometimes get the cooldown-but-no-effect with Rouse/Spur too (and other abilities on other jobs.) I think it's simply lag, it seems to happen more often when I try to fit 2 cooldowns between GCDs. Now I only use 1 per GCD and wait a bit between abilities, and it hasn't happened since.

Morning everyone. I encountered a strange bug with Summoner last night, and I'd like to see if anyone else has had this happen, as it is potentially very problematic.

I was running through Copperbell Mine (Hard) last night, and during the first(?) boss with the slimes and fire, Garuda-Egi was defeated and I attempted to resummon it.

After activating Swift Cast and selecting Garuda-Egi, to my dismay, nothing happened. I saw my character do the summoning animation, but there was no Egi and it wasted my Swift Cast.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Yea that happpened to me, but it was a few days ago so I might have remembered it wrong

I can't say I've had that happen except for this past monday but my internet was being a giant piece of crap so I attribute it to that.

Also really disappointed that my hair clips through the SMN horn. headbands should affect hair
