Not to mention, even if they were going to make such requests, there's no sense to make them before seeing where the routing settles after the move. Makes more sense to ask adjustments if needed.
edit: Sorry, I forgot logic was not allowed here ^^

Where did newlobby# come from? I don't know if I missed it or it wasn't said in this thread.
The unfortunate thing about routing issues on the internet, is some companies will ignore you unless you are one of their direct customers. So sometimes if your ISP connects to them you can make a request that way, but it's hard at times if you don't have a payment going to them.
New Jersey - Went from 20ms at Montreal to 90ms if the results from the new address are accurate at this time.
I don't think I'll even notice a difference, but it sucks for everyone else whose ping is flying way up there. I actually find it kinda hard to believe they'd pull something like this right before Stormblood's release.
I'm lazy and too tired to read the whole thread.
Where were the NA servers originally ?
I'm in an eastern coastal state.
The clock is ticking, I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I really hope that things will get better as the days go on for anybody affected negatively by the changes. At the same time, I'm happy to see how things might change for people overseas but near the west coast. Fingers crossed :')
Montreal, Canada which is in the Eastern time zone almost directly north of New York City. The closest major U.S. city is Boston, I believe, although it's only a bit closer to Montreal than NYC is.
