I made it out of white cotton fabric. I feel more comfortable with non syntetic fabric ^^
For the typical red pattern I used a mix of cotton and polyester (since its not directly in contact with my skin). You have to use 100% Polyester Yarn to sew everything together, cuz otherwise the yarn will tear appart (it its a cotton one or a mix of cotton and polyester) unfortunately I made a mistake on my hood =/

I forgot to use red AND white yarn >__< I used red two times, so you could see the sewing lines ..... D:
(you can see them on the photo under this text) Ah btw. the wig was styled by me and consists of 2 wigs xD I wanted my hair to look as "Esumi/Miqo'te like" as possible :3

My sister used different fabrics. Not sure which one exactly but I guess most of them are cotton ones. She used the original Artwork as a reference for her costume and not the ingame Version. The Artwork had way more details and she wanted to look awesome lol. She bought fabric in about 3 different colours for her Coat. Dark Blue, Dark Grey and a Dark Purple one. Her coat consists of 2 Coats actually. the one over the large coat is more like a wrap/bolero jacket (or whatever u call it) XD
She also used many Metal eyelets (or grommets dunno how u call them) and a beautiful textile ribbons (sorry I don't really know the correct word for it)

we both had not pattern. we just create them ourself. we aren't professional tailors or something like that xD but it always works at the end haha :D

Unfortunately you can't see all the details well on my white dress and coat. I sewed many pretty patterns on it by hand to let it look like the original one ^^
(we both finished our costumes before the gear was implemented ingame) :D
My sister also made the awesome belt with the book and the phial/vial and a flame which was made with 3 different fabrics ^^
