660 would be overkill on acc no? And at that point, using pira pira would bring the acc more and you would end up using morel.

If we take the weights that Dervy posted up as rough estimates and assume we can max out the potential of Baked Pipira Pira and Morel Salad then Baked Pipira Pira still comes out on top because of how heavily weighted Crit is. So max potential would have Baked Pipira Pira at 5.957 weighted STR (plus acc) and Morel Salad would be 5.85 weighted STR with combined gains from Det and SS.

This all works on the current stat weight estimates which are not totally correct and the assumption that yout can even max out the stats on the food. As Dervy stated they are to be taken with a grain of salt. However, as it stands for physical DPS Baked Pipira Pira is pretty much the go to food because Crit is so valuable for all the classes right now and it's fairly easy to make with the benefit of having Acc so you can possibly work that Acc gain into your set.

Monk Adjustments
We've been receiving requests to be able to instantly reach the maximum amount of Chakra stacks while not in battle; however, having an ability that would allow for this between fights in dungeons and such would be much too strong, so we’re still in the midst of making adjustments. First we will be making adjustments to the effect duration and effect potency of Greased Lightning.

Chakra thing is silly. Its fine as is.

The greased lightning "adjustments" should be interesting. Curious if its a buff or nerf.

Is this for real or just rumor? I'm hoping they don't nerf GL. If they do then monk is dead.

99% sure they're not going to nerf GL more like increase it

Depending on the changes, a lot of people are going to jump ship back to mnk since a lot of people try to play the "default" top dps class.

RIP drg, top dps spot was fun while it lasted, lmao. It was annoying to see so many drgs around anyway though haha.

Its not RIP dragoon you're forgetting they Rival ninja in dps utility and Still pull really high ST damage

I was joking for the most part. Though I'm more surprised about duration increase than potency buffs. They may even make it to where gl 1 and 2 have higher damage while gl3 stays the same. They weren't very detailed about how they were implementing the changes.
