OK this is a few weeks old. I was running bis ex with a friend for the bird and we kept running into another half party. It was awesome for df as they were good and we had lots of fun together. We saw a lot of birds drop and when their party had all theirs I was a bit sad as it would then be back to normal df parties (shudder).

To my surprise they turned up again and ran a few more with us to try and get me a bird too, I wasn't lucky but I felt write privileged they had come back to help out a stranger :)

It really made me happy for ages and I know I'll get the bird eventually :)

Still. Bad form. One missed mob on the healer or DPS could mean a wipe. It's one thing to trust you tank to do their job, it's another thing to trust them to be able to react to your shenanigans. Props to the tank for rolling with it and not losing patience.

That's... That's just embarrassing. I'm literally dead before the adds even spawned because for some reason that dumb whale was not solid when I jumped onto him. My god. My god, please bury me and play some lame song, I'm literally bright red in embarrassment

They're fighting the adds as I type this. I clipped through Bismarck and died before the adds spawned. THROUGH BISMARCK. Why does this always happen to me,

UPDATE: They wiped. Both thanks and one healer are gone. This is incredible and I wanna lie down and spontaneously combust. This is so embarrassing

Main Scenario Roulette as AST, co-healer is a WHM. It's Praetorium. This WHM insists on pulling and tanking everything, and can't be bothered to wait for tanks to do anything.

I did what I always do as AST in MSQ roulette, which is throwing up Aspected Helios and Benefic on one of the tanks, keeping people alive if they start to drop on HP, drawing cards, and then switching to Cleric Stance to DPS a bit, etc.

Usually, I'm rather lucky to get a comm for any of this. This time, I got 4. I guess, when your co-healer is most decidedly not doing their job, you look awesome in comparison for doing it.

... As if clipping through Bismarck wasn't weird enough.
So after we all left Bis me and my friends signed up again, adn got Chrysalis. General moaning in the linkshell, we all hate that place.

So I shoulder tackle Nabriales right as he teleports and... I end up literally next to him, on the other side of the map, where he just teleported to. I just... shoulder tackle-teleported with him. What is this game DOING right now.

Yeah there is a split second after he rams the island before he turns into "solid ground". Because of that, I wait a short moment before jumping on now.
And yes, I also learned it the hard way ;)

That is AWESOME and I absolutely need to try it xD
Although I doubt I'll be able to pull the timing off °-°

I think this is probably the same way my BLM casts work in that fight. Like, if I start casting before he teleports, my fireball hits him where he lands, the cast isn't interrupted or anything.

I agree, I meant it as more of a suggestion of his possible mindset.

Sees they've added the weapon upgrade item. It's been over month since I actually played and I only got about four hours of sleep. Sure, let's run Weeping City. For the most part everything went fine. Something happened with C during Ozma and both their healer's quit. We tried, but ended up wiping. Second round I went to hit "5" and missed and hit "R" instead and ran off the edge. It was at the start of the fight so it was all good. Weakness ran out sometime during the Ozmashade part. Then during Calofestorie someone kept triggering the hair jail. At one point there were two right next to each other and when breaking out the first group we got grabbed. Didn't wipe during that fight, but I personally died five times. Got a Comm.

Then I went and did VA. Nothing exciting happened. But I did get my AST weapon upgraded and died it Pink.

Speaking of Wiping Shitty, I went in as SCH yet again, today. Looked for a healer's jacket, walked off with a tank's circlet because I haven't seen that damn jacket drop in weeks.

On the plus side, my co-healer was a WHM who actually knew what they were doing, and... and before this I'd never truly appreciated just having a co-healer who's not incompetent, an asshole, or an incompetent asshole before, in Wiping Shitty. I could DPS! I could heal! Nobody ran into the damn Ozmaspheres when I said I'd eat them, allowing me to eat them safely, and heal and shield myself! I could do my job and they did their job, and it worked!

And there were no wipes! Except that somehow, both the other alliances ended up wiping to Calofisteri, while my own was the only one that apparently knew how to dodge mechanics. So at one point it was just us two healers, dodging mechanics, keeping the MT alive, and trying to find some time to ress the other alliances' healers.

To be honest, a situation like this is just another Tuesday in Wiping Shitty for me. Nothing out of the ordinary. I've carried entire groups before and had nothing to show for it. I wasn't expecting any comms at all, especially since I didn't have to do anything particularly stressful, with a good co-healer. So imagine my surprise when I left, and 4 comms popped up. Thanks for all that.

I know that one, I actually legitimately clipped through him while everyone else who jumped at the same time was on him. It was weird, and even hours later I'm still kind of embarrassed. Maybe my angle was just off and I touched part of his back that just sends oyu tumbling and it didn't register properly so I just clipped through, or whatever, but that was very strange and I hope I don't get Bis HM any time soon. At least I can avoid the farms because I have the bird but weh;;
