Having just Fantasia-ed back into a Lalafel, I have discovered a new-found love for Rhotano Blue.

The plate arms and boots are probably "weathered" gear saved from early 1.0, when there was no class restrictions on gear.

Speaking of vanity, I've seen some people wear Vanya robes that were completely dye'd. Like, not just the sleeves and front but the whole thing. How's that done?

One of the few things I liked about pre-Yoshida 1.0 was that gear had no class or level restriction so if you wanted to run around in full plate on CNJ you could (some of the NPCs like Papalymo still wear gear that their class shouldn't be able to). Of course this system had huge amount problems, and gear is much better aesthetically designed in 2.0. But I do miss being able to be a "battle mage". Unlike the person above, I didn't save any weathered gear from 1.0. :(

The only set I know of is the Warwolf casting robe, which is all in a shimmery midnight blue. However, when you dye it, it's just like the normal Vanya robe where only the sleeves and front panel gets dyed.

It's the same outfit that SE gave us during the event for the exception of my choice of shirt/hose and fuzzy slippers. SE had us wearing only sport shorts and sandals. My legs are covered up! ;)
