On a personal note, I simply don't do the pronoun thing. Our standards of common decency differ when it comes to that and we'll just have to agree to disagree.
I hate that I have to reiterate that I am not referring to all. I even point out "not as a whole". The only sweeping generalization I would be making would be in regards to online because (thankfully) I never come across these problematic people in my day-to-day. And if I do, they're keeping to themselves.
If you're a cool person, you're a cool person.
I'm making a point that because of the ones you acknowledge yourself, the standard good will one would have towards the average person has greatly diminished when it comes to a lot of trans people.
Which, again, is a shame.
