@Alkaiser completely and totally agree with every single thing you wrote. Makes me feel good to see people still believing in what we have and not praising what were getting now.

That is the only good thing that came out of this change, but at the same time it's being exploited at the cost of the MMO's eventual longevity, which is the issue here.

That's simply not true. You could PL all day every day in XI but parties I ever had there with a PL were like 1% of the time. This goes for any MMO. The vast majority of people in a successful MMO are not high level. You yourself are already at max length so you're just speculating because you haven't experienced it yourself. No, I have a better clue as to why you feel so strongly.. you feel ripped off. You don't feel better than someone who got PLed. Your confidence is threatened.

There seems to be a handful of people here that refuse to see the truth of the damage this could do to the game. It's like ignorance, the folly of man.

It's not about jealousy from veterans from launch.
It's not about pride, or gloating from the top of the mountain.
It's not about greed, it's not like anyone wants to have a "special class" by being 50. (That notion already doesn't exist.)
It's not about the lack of content, that is being fixed every patch.

It. Simply. Breaks. The. Game.
I don't know how this couldn't be any more clear, any more true, any more resoundingly correct.

It doesn't "break" the game if it's an intended mechanic.

Yes it potentially hurts longevity, but so does every day that goes by without a new patch or the PS3 release.

Maybe if it concerned DoH but it doesn't so you're wrong. How do you break a broken game anyways?

Wonder if they will do a rollback from all the people going from Lv 1-10ish to Lv40 within a day... (I'd love to be doing that for my crafting) O_o

... I should do that for my cnj/thm hmmm...

I've seen people run around just equip every aoe and plow through the mass groups of low lvl stuff with 2-3+ following them around, kind of funny to watch.

Maybe you don't read or maybe you don't understand it broken due to the fact that you get the full amoumt of exp for someone killing a high level mob for you. Listen to my words "YOSHI-P SAID YOU WONT GET THAT MUCH EXP IF SOMEONE KILL A HIGHER MOB FOR YOU!!!!!!!!"

Also we asking them to take it off because it not right.
