460 is the sweet spot.

This is the set i use for T5 if any1 interested
A bit late on this, but Foresight gives a flat defense boost which equates to about a 4% increase in damage mitigation for warriors. So if you featherfoot and dodge 1 single attack you make up far more than Foresight can ever do.
Hopefully the new gear being introduced in 2.2 won't have much skill speed on it, if you get your GCD below 2.40s you start running out of TP fast...
I'm sorry guys, i don't know how you make the gear look better than this.

they peaked, and it's gonna be all downhill from here :(
That's why you have glamours.
High Allagan Spear:
WD: 53
Strength: 45
Vitality: 53
Determination: 32
Crit: 32
We're done here Ladies and Gentlemen. 2.2 will be the era' of Dragoons.
XIVDB.
Our i100/i110 armour from Gerolt Masterwork is primarily SkillSpeed Based unfortunately. The gloves are very powerful however:
Astrum Gloves (i110)
Strength: 24
Vitality: 28
Crit: 25
Det: 12
Accessories are even more powerful, most i110's are Crit/Det.
The High Allagan Chest (i110) is:
Strength: 39
Vitality: 46
Skill Speed: 41
Determination: 30
Gunna feed all of the new weapon stats into some calcs and see what "BiS" could potentially be.
Cool. Thanks.
So far, Tidal Wave Harpoon > Weathered Liberator (Spear). Both i100. Still finishing weapons, then gunna move onto chest pieces. Should have something basic to share with you all tomorrow ^^. Though, Liberator (i110) smashes everything out of the water, except for High Allagan Spear.
What's nice (finally) is the Liberator seems to be a good "in-between" this time around; 44 SS and 22 DET. Hopefully it won't have some silly way to get it (looks like tomes, and the Sands are probably from clearing any Coil2 Turn). The Tidal Wave Harpoon is also looking better than Gae Bolg Animus, with 29 DET and 28 Acc, but its i100...
EDIT: I'm making the assumption that the minute you can (which should be very fast), Liberator will be upgraded, since Weapon Damage > All
Weathered Liberator (i100), to Liberator (i110), and that's all. You need a "Sand/Oil of Time" I bet.
What's so weird though, is the Gae Bolg Atma is i100, with the same stats as i90... But Gae Bolg Animus is i100 with i100 stats. Very weird.
Also, the Weathered Weapons are acquired with 10 Rowena Primal Tokens. You can purchase 1 of those tokens with 130 Solderies.
How is XIVDB updated so fast? They have insiders? o.O
Now I'm tempted to run my first Zodiac quest as WHM instead of DRG. Grab Allagan Spear Thurs or Fri (hopefully...going to be farming Twin a lot the next few days) and just use that til I get Liberator (maybe bump to a Levi Weapon just for the Weapon Damage if I get one til I get Liberator).
lol. So far, using 2.1 Stat Weights, along with the items I've currently added to my solver, with a Liberated (i110), we'll be looking at 470+ skill speed....
EDIT: 488 atm lol. This is for 472 Accuracy however. I'll bump it to 500 after I'm done. There's 4 pieces of new gear for each slot, 7 weapons >_<
My one concern about Zodiac quests is: I'm sure it will be similar to Relic quests in that you can only do one weapon at a time. However, if the progress is spread out over several patches, does that mean we are stuck on the one quest for however long it takes for all content to be available? Or do you think there will be a stopping point each patch were you can pick up the quest for other classes and work on those? I have 6 relics I want 6 zodiacs XD
So right now the best thing to do is upgrade fr zincite to atma since both have the same stat, then get 10 Rowena primal token and purchase tidal weapons? S this correct? So tidal weapon is best ATM till we can get our atma to animus?
Tidal is best until we get our Weathered Liberator to Liberator. Liberator is i110.
Anyway, BiS full i110 suit @ 500 accuracy w/ 2.1 Stat Weights w/ Buttons in Blanket (HQ) are as follows: (This also includes drops which will drop from T9, so not 100% reliable as of yet)
Weapon: Liberator

Chest: Suit of Astrum Mail
Gloves: Astrum Armguards
Belt: High Allagan Belt of Maiming
Legs: High Allagan Trousers of Maiming
Boots: High Allagan Sabatons of Maiming
Necklace: High Allagan Choker of Slaying
Earrings: High Allagan Earrings of Slaying
Bracelets: High Allagan Bracelets of Slaying
Ring 1: Gloam Ring
Ring 2: High Allagan Ring of Slaying
Strength: 575
WD: 51
Accuracy: 500
CRT: 456
DTR: 298
SS: 486
Stat Weight Total: 807.096
BiS @ 500 accuracy w/ High Allagan Spear w/ Buttons w/ 2.1 Stat Weights:
Weapon: High Allagan Spear
Everything else: Exactly as above
Strength: 578
WD: 53
Accuracy: 500
CRT: 489
DTR: 309
SS: 442
Stat Weight Total: 830.009
The new updated Black Truffle Risotto HQ is still the same as Buttons, lol.
Astrum Armguards is in slot for every accuracy. Below 496 accuracy, the High Allagan Chest is best.
So 1st upgrade for everyone will be the Arm Guards. Once people have found a comfortable accuracy for Turn 6, we'll start from there.
Wave Harpoon is equal/better than Allagan Spear. I lost all interest in killing Twin now. :(
What do u guys think of the i90 crafted gear with deter matria to it? Will it stack compare to the new gear?
Not added it yet as I don't know what the materia caps are.
First...Allagan Spear > Wave Harpoon
Second...I bet its Levi EX that drops the i95 weapons, not Levi HM.
Interesting stuff. But yeah, I'm wondering how crafted materia gear would be in comparison.
That High Allagan Spear though :D.
Well, either way they'll be better than i90 Myth/Allagan (except for weapon) just thanks to melds.
But, I wouldn't bother sidegrading really (if you don't have the i90 then it can be good if you have the gil), unless you have to just because it will cost a LOT of Myth to do so (prob 1125 per item, like Philo was) and the cost to meld will be insane (so many grade 4 materia lost...), and really will only be useful to replace items with no DET (which is almost nothing, I think), or to add Acc to something (much more viable).
Nah, some data mining just confirmed that Leviathan HM drops i95. We get a Mirror from Leviathan EX to upgrade it to i100.
I think, Leviathan or Moogle EX drops an i100 necklace, called "Ribbon of X".
High Allagan Spear @ 480 Accuracy w/ Buttons w/ 2.1 Stat weights:
Weapon: High Allagan Spear
Helmet: High Allagan Headgear of Maiming
Chest: High Allagan Cuirass of Maiming
Gloves: High Allagan Gauntlets of Maiming
Belt: High Allagan Belt of Maiming
Legs: Astrum Hose
Boots: Astrum Sabatons
Necklace: High Allagan Choker of Slaying
Earrings: High Allagan Earrings of Slaying
Bracelets: High Allagan Bracelets of Slaying
Ring 1: Gloam Ring
Ring 2: High Allagan Ring of Slaying
Strength: 578
WD: 53
Accuracy: 480
CRT: 524
DTR: 311
SS: 424
Stat Weight Total: 834.359
My oh my. Looks like gear sets change a lot... And a lot of Allagan stuff lmao... Gloam Ring = stronk.
Does anyone know who drops the "sands of time"?
IF the XiVDB is correct, we going to need load of those sands to upgrade the Weathered items to 110
BTW, i guess that the "ribbon items" are from King Mog EX
I wonder if Sands are dropped or bought.
If you need to buy the sands with the Soldierly thomes... it means we going to farm load of istances
Can someone please post the "Dragoon Gear Solver 1.4" after it has been updated?
I went through and added everything myself but when I tried to run the solver it wouldn't properly select the rings (possibly others?), even though I definitely selected the right ranges when inputting it into the solver.
I'm assuming it is because of the formula in the "Constraints" section for each item with the "1s and 2", which might not work properly since I added a bunch of new rows that weren't there previously. But I'm not sure what I did wrong / what I changed.
I liked using this solver since I could select items based on the drops I actually got at the time instead of just the end-all-be-all best in slot set.
