Don't know if this has been suggested but a "back" camera view would be nice, like you asign it to a key and when you press it you can look behind you while you keep pressing the key, GW2 has something like this and it works great for PvP and other stuff.
CDs reset that happens when you enter the pvp arena should be applied to all instances... switching classes on duty pop and having ur CDs and skills all over the place is... yeah..
Tired of farming elemental shards? please, allow us to break bigger crystals to get lesser versions of the same:
1 Cluster = 10 Crystals = 100 shards.
Not sure how to explain it, but here goes.
Some Beastman quests require you to kill 2-3 mobs then another mob spawns. YOu kill that for a quest update. However, what seems to happen is if you are attacked between killing the mob that makes the quest mob appear, and the quest mob actually appearing, what happens is you get an error like "Event canceled, you are under attack". Now you have to kill more mobs to get the quest mob appear. I think that's dumb and unnecessary. Any way to get rid of that happening?
For linkshells, I would like a last logged in notification exactly as it is in Free Companies. Reason being is that since linkshells are far more limited in numbers compared to FCs and being able to have multiple LSs, it becomes quite difficult to maintain them as they are quite often used as tools for grouping people with a similar interest such as Odin, PvP etc. and many people end up leaving and it's difficult to tell who hasn't been on at all or if you just happen to not see them on.
I don't want to accidentally kick anyone from a LS that only appears to not be playing as they happen to not have been seen.

Player 1 can't invite player 2 without player 2 withdrawing their chocobo first. Please let us invite people into the group without having them withdraw their chocobos. Of course there would be rules like if there are 7 people in a party, the leader won't be able to invite a player with a chocobo summoned, and so on. A little thing but it is a quality of life thing XD
I'd like to see venture stacking/repeating. Say you complete one; it would immediately give you the option to repeat that venture or finish. If you repeat, you get your items and your retainer heads right back out to do it again. For the stacking, I'd like to be able to select one of the specific-item ventures, then specify a number of cycles. In go as many venture coins as needed, time to complete gets set to however many hours, and when it's all over you get a lot of the one item instead of just 30.
I think the only reason they don't have a yalm indicator, is so they can dynamically nerf distances between things (IE: /beckon for escort missions, etc.)
I wish that when I had my chocobo companion out, I could still use mount roulette.
Can we please give tanks a way to tell which mobs are at risk of being pulled by a party member's building enmity, WITHOUT forcing us to constantly switch between targets mid fight?
This one is really frustrating, especially in fights where the monster count is 5 or greater in a single pull. Give us a more robust indicator in the enemy party list so we can monitor all adds simultaneously, at-a-glance, BEFORE the aggro has already switched to a different party member. Thanks.
Try On feature on Loot Roll
Sometimes I want the loot only for the vanity and glamour. I don't want to greed and need everytime to try the gear so the Try On feature is really useful here. I can pass when I don't like the vanity.
I'd like if you joined a duty finder group the people on your server showed in a different colour. As it is now nobody really talks but if you knew you could chat or play together again after it may strike a bit of friendliness in duties. Likewise if they're a dick you can blacklist them.
Please make it so we have 2 different hotbars, 1 for buffs and another for debuffs!
Please make it so for looting on weapons or armor that you are currently above the ilevel of, you can only greed on it.
The Daystar Robe or the Weathered version, male Miqotes while using the crossing arms pose, have a problem where the shoulder straps on the robe look weird on the position they stay.
For housing, can you implement a different type of partition: "Copied Partition" or something like that. Pretty much a partition that will always follow the design of your interior wall whenever you change it. I love most of the interior wall designs but sometimes the partitions are not always the right match.

It would be really nice if my friend list was sorted alphabetically when I want to send someone a moogle mail, would make finding a name a lot easier when I want to mail something.

I would like the devs to modify the hunting achievements. The "Bring your X game" series need to be adjusted, imo. For example, "Bring your B game" needs 300 kills for the title, "Bring your A game" needs 200 kills for the title. The problem is, "Bring your S game" needs 200 as well? I think it should ask for 100 kills.

While in a party, clicking on the aetheryte from the map will not allow you to teleport if someone's offered you a teleport already. Would it be possible to make it so that clicking on the aetheryte from the map will automatically override their teleport offer and allow you teleport to the aetheryte you clicked.
Would it also be possible to dismount from chocobo upon clicking on a teleport location from the map or teleport window?
I would like to be able to change the NPC chat windows size, the ones used in cut-scenes and quest dialogue. It's the only thing I can't change with ctrl+home. x_x;

We need a "Play music while mounted" option for battle. I want the Zone's music to play while fighting instead of the battle/boss music. (Dungeon music is always masked by some other theme that get's played faaar too much compared to the zone's music.)

Early after 2.3, there was a "glitch" that moved online friends at the top of Moogle Mail recipients, but it got fixed. Could it be implemented again? It's always a pain to scroll up and down the whole friend list, especially when you can't sort it alphabetically.
Why on earth does casting "Quelling Strikes" face pull mobs? The irony is ridiculous.
When the retainer's 'Market' interface is open you can sell, view current listings and view historical sales. It would be massively convenient if you could also buy from the window where your retainer views the current listings, though the location for taxation purposes for buying would need to be set based on the location of the summoning bell to prevent tax avoidance!
Also on retainers, I find that with four it can be tedious summoning one, dismissing, summoning the next, etc. and even frustrating if you accidentally summon the wrong one. It would be great if when the Retainer's Main Menu was on-screen you could cycle through a menu on a page for each in the same way your crafting or hunting log have pages.

When one glamours a gear piece which is used for similar roles (WAR&PLD, SMN&BLM etc.), the glamour will count for both jobs of that role (granted someone leveled both). For example: I glamour my tank soldiery body to "X". I will see "X" on both my WAR and PLD. <-- This means your tanks/casters/healers will always look the same when they use the same gear (which happens a lot FFXIV).
Another disappointing fact: I glamour this same soldiery body to a PLD only body piece "Y" and then dye "Y". When I would switch to WAR, "Y" of course isn't there because of it being PLD only, yet the dye will be on it (when the soldiery is i110 or any other piece that can have dyes).
Long story short: please make it so that glamours are saved for a job rather than on a gear piece.
Not used to posting on the forums so not sure if this is the correct thread to make this suggestion, but here goes:
Add a 'Request Desynthesis' option similar to the 'Request Meld' option when targeting another player who has the appropriate craft. You can have them meld items that are bound to you, so why not allow them to break them down for you as well? Just a thought since I'm sure many players have their retainers full of items they'd like to desynth but can't either due to not having the craft high enough or due to the cumulative skill cap of 300.
Are there any plans to add in a auto-attack/defend if we get attack by an enemy while we are away for a minute to get something to eat/drink or use the lavatory.
