I am genuinely amused by the grin on that 2B-Hrothgar.

I'm such a FFXIV fangirl, I defend this team against most of all criticisms, except for this... this is honestly embarrassing. I'm tired of hearing defenses for this dev team and the horrible treatment they've given to Vieras and Hrothgar. I'm tired of everyone ignoring how modders have handled this a year ago and the results look SO much better than the official releases. How could an entire expansion get pushed back with less than 2 weeks of a notice over minor fixes in SIDEQUESTS, but this is acceptable? Hrothgar without ears?

Come on SE... do better, please...

I really - really - hope this is just a bad photoshop. I hope the ears show in the game and they're just finalizing things and had to throw together those pictures. I hope I'm wrong and I shoved my foot in my mouth. Please, let me be wrong...

Unless they were joking (which is possible considering the date and all) they did say something like "the ears are hiding underneath the hair". :rolleyes:

Another legacy hairstyle for Viera so it should automatically unlock, can't see if it has a massive forehead again because of the circlet though.

I came back here to point out that, last I remember, I was the only person to think this was a possibility (That Hrothgar would just get heads that could use shared hair and that the shared hair they could use would be the same as Viera's selection of shared hair).

Why is this? It's because they're not gonna make unique hairs for each Hrothgar face with their stupidly different foreheads and ear shapes, makes more sense to make new heads with a unified head shape that can use the same hair as other races.

Also, people laughed when I suggested they would take this wig route with Female Hrothgar so that they could use the same shared hair as Viera (cause who in their right mind would make Face-Hair locked females?) ...

I'm guessing they will ask you to pay to potion to 1 of 4 new heads that can use these hairstyles to (Hrothgar hair stuff is in their face features tab, so to take that away you need a new face)

my day is ruined and my disappointment is immeasurable :(

I was cringing so hard when I saw hrothgars with new hairstyles. And in regards to viera, I am having too much fun with hats on my miqote to be swayed with a couple of hairstyles.
