I'd like to some simple table top sets, like a cutting board with knife (and possibly some vegetables being sliced) for the kitchen, a set of paints to go along with the blank easel, and some cups that aren't attached to meal sets.

An artist's paint set was included among the winning entries from the recent "design a furnishing" competition SE ran and which may possibly be added in the future as actual furnishing, so have patience fellow artist! :D
As a stop-gap measure though, I set up a fairly passable paint set using the empty spirit bottles (artists after all usually mix paint in whatever bottles they can find, such as beverage bottles), with the Far Eastern Calligraphy brushes on a table next to the easel, and I'm really pleased with how effective it is (sadly I don't have a screenshot of it to show however).
I need these in my life ASAP:

Also, they need to get rid of the pillars inside the house. Oasis and Hingan's are terrible, I gotta cover everything with blank partitions and we could save A LOT of space (and data) with simple walls and no details.
Can we please have a brick wallpaper?
Also please let us dye the white paper.
I want more dyable cushions. I want all existing items to be dyable.
A single book that can be placed. A candle with wax dripping.
And overall I would like just a few more item slots.
I would love a section of tiled floor to make a bathroom, except let's be realistic. The Combed Rug that could be used to do floor coverage, is such a tiny square. Any tile floor section they make would be too small to be useful, you'd need like 8 to cover a bathroom floor. It just takes up too many furni slots.
I know it has been brought up before but it would be nice if we could have toilets and bathroom sinks (and kitchen sinks). Currently the bathroom in my new house is 1/4 bathroom only.
I would love it if they unlocked aquariums so I could have more than 1 in my estate. :(
A guestbook people could sign when they visit my house please.
And maybe some indoor fountains and/or waterfalls.
A map of the Far East (Othard and Hingashi) would be lovely.
Like the Eorzea map housing items, there could be two versions. One spread out across a table and the other to simply stick on a wall.
Haven't posted in here for a few years, figure I would post my list ofdemandsrequests.
1. increase the item allowances inside Large houses from 400 to 600+ and Medium houses from 300 to 450+. (Smalls are in a good place atm, but would also welcome an increase here)
2. Double the item allowance in all yard types (Large 80, Medium 60, Small 40).
3. Add a way where you can have more then 40 intractable items in your house without having items disappear... even if it's only for certain clients.
4. Add a Guestbook where people who visit your house can write messages.
5. Stop adding more intractable items if you can not fix 3.
6. Please add wallpaperable doors (similar to the Mahogany Partition door, where everything but the door and maybe the trimmings can have wallpaper placed onto it)
7. More door styles.
8. A furnishing to let a specific minion run around your house.
9. A furnishing that would allow you to add your retainers to the interior of your house. Would also like it if they would be able to do specific things inside such as sit in a chair/lay in a bed/ walk around/ be on guard duty.
10. Let us be able to craft specific pieces of the exterior wall sets.
11. I would like to be able to put things like beds and pianos up on stages, please allow us to do this in some way.
12. Add a toilet
13. Please also add a bathroom sink
14. Add curtains to to put over the windows
15. Please add stackable dishes/cups so we can put them in a cupboard.
16. Please let us take wallpaper off of blank partitions without destroying it.
I'm sure I can think of more things, I'll just add them to the list later.
My suggestions are easily designed.
1) Partitions that are 5 to 10 times longer than the single length units we currently have. Right now I am using about 15-20 partitions to block off my interior walls just to eliminate the horrible windows and pillars against said interior walls.
2) Allow all wall furnishings (windows) to be applied to all partitions.
I don't think it's been asked for yet but for those with a private home can you make it so we can give alternate characters in the same world a room in said house.
More pillar types! Slimmer versions of the oasis/riviera/glade/hingan pillars would be nice, as well as new sorts all together like the addition of the marble pillar. pillars can really add a finishing touch to an area, but they don't always need to be so huge!
Maybe ones that mirror outside housing skins to give homeowners some design cohesion? (Yes, even paissa / carbuncle / moogle pilars - we already have a chocobo one!)
Vine/flower covered pillars, ones with lamps or mosaic work built in. Masonwork pillars to match the stove. Manor pillars with pretty metalwork / gilding.
How about dyeable ones? ( in different shapes / material / texture choices - dyeable wood pillars, dyeable stone ones, etc.)
More statues / fountains / accent pieces for interiors. People frequently use the various tubs + shower stand for fountains, but dedicated ones would be appreciated. (there were some great examples in the item contest, both freestanding and wallmounted!)
Statues of the Twelve, or of other lore / legendary figures that aren't the raid figurines would be great. Sort of like the gargoyle statues, but those really don't fit to everyone's decorating scheme!
I have a paissa cottage so naturally I love the idea of more paissa furniture, or at least just wallpaper, flooring and maybe a pillar. How about one that's just a floor-to-ceiling stack of little paissa? How cute would that be?
And a velvet paissa painting! (Look, I know I have tacky taste, I may as well take it to 11.) Paissa everywhere, enough to make you sick. :p
I am also hoping we get the "home version" of the Thermocoil Boilmaster at some point. Actually (you may be able to guess this but) I kinda wish we had more Ironworks-themed tchatchke we could stick around our houses, whether we want it to look like a workshop, or if we just want... ... ...a lore friendly toaster or something, maybe?
All of these plus at least one banner for Ishgard (ideally I'd like one for each of the high houses, or at least one for Ishgard proper and one for house Fortemps)! I was just fussing with the decorations in my FC house the other day and realized that we have one for each GC, a couple of Auri tribes and some decorative Hingan scrolls, but some of our greatest allies are not represented!
Also I might be alone in this, but I feel like we ought to have a Crystal Braves banner, despite how that plotline played out.
More armor sets as furnishings. The Hingan Display armor is cool, but I would like more types, Ishgardian for example. I'm assuming a mannequin has already been asked for, but different armor displays would be good enough for me.
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I'd really like a small shoe rack to put by the door in my Shirogane house. Spent an hour last night trying to find one, could've store I saw someone with it.
Then remembered I saw it in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Questioned my life choices and went to bed.

This probably seems minor but I'm going to put it out anyway.
There's a lot of issues like this with the new housing skins. Is there anyway that this could be fixed?
I'd like to see the number of garden patches per house expanded by one. A single patch isn't enough to handle both crossbreeding and shard growing, and I'd prefer to leave the FC's gardens to members without their own houses.
I would love Indoor Training Dummy
I could put it in my apartment and not have to annoy my neighbors.
I would love to have all the indoor training stuff we have in the squad rooms. I want the training dummies, I want the pillar, and I want weapons racks. I want it all! I have a few friends who really want to do a dojo, and having some indoor training dummies (even if you can't interact with them) would be amazing!
Also, please allow for personal airships and gardens that are not attached to owning a house.
Most likely been mentioned before, but I'd love a Shiva miniature. We have a lovely Lakshmi one, and now that we can get Shiva miniatures for our real life houses an in-game version would be great! ^_^
Also an Ysayle portrait.
I'll throw my idea here:
I love, love, love the imitation windows (BUT LET US PUT THEM ON PARTITIONS/OVER REAL WINDOWS *cough*). What I would love to see next are dynamic windows. They don't need to reflect what's actually outside (and I'd rather they not, I don't want to look at my neighbor's moogle house inside as well as outside) but rather, generic scenes from the housing ward. The beach. Palm trees and fountains. A grass-lined street with flowers and trees that sway in the breeze. We already know they can get time-of-day tracking, because the imitation windows can track the sun as it moves through the sky, and they can track positionals, because east windows get the sun rays before west windows do. This means they could show a different scene based off which side of the house they're on, and it could look consistent from side to side.
I want a model phantom train that animates on a little oval track. Like the kind you would put under a Christmas tree.
A pond with koi in it would be amazing.
As I see it, the item amount in small houses is pretty reasonable. Although I have to admit that medium houses and big houses still could use more itemslots.
The middle house is double the size of the small and could use atleast double the itemslots. Same goies for big houses. These houses are already expensive enough
and players should have the freedom to spend more time, gil and materials to put even more stuff into it. Medium and big houses look rather empty compared to small ones.
Can we get a Carbuncle footstool to go with the Carbuncle armchair please?
I think there are two things that could be done.
1) the option to change the default pillars in the house's frame.
2) The colors for most of the floorings and walls are passable at best. Could we get the option to paint the walls and floors?
Little ladies day really highlights, to me, what the goblet needs more of. Visual interest!
Those cherryblossom trees really scattered all over the ward brightens it up a good deal, and breaks the monotony of the sandstone. While I couldn't image cherry blossoms in the ward all year long, how about some taller trees scattered here and there? It's an oasis - surely there could be some dessert palms, or even some desert ironwood trees scattered here and there - adding height, and shade, and softening the landscape.
Heck, maybe even more statues like those lions at the fountain here and there. Or more little fountains. The ponds are neat, but like everything else in the goblet, it feels really flat and horizontal. They blend in, rather than make a statement anywhere.
ALSO - can we please get the hanging lantern with the cherry blossom pattern hanging from the trees and other items as a lamp or even a lighting fixture for interiors next year?
That and those adorable little birds hanging out under the umbrellas. I would love them as tabletop items.
Well there was a Carbuncle ceiling lamp that was one of the winners in the design contest so that should be added in at some point. :)
EDIT to avoid double posting:
Can we get the white and gold floor lamps that are part of the Little Ladies Day decorations in the housing zones also?
I am not sure if anyone have brought up this before but a fixture like toilet would be much appreciate.
You know.... for the immersion.
Finally got a home, woot \o/
However the morning i got it i wanted it to look not so generic before i went off to work so i went with the mog exterior.
Would be nice to have a built in Preview so we can see what it would look like before we purchase
More door partitions. As much as I love the Riviera style, I'd like to not be forced to use it to have internal doors that match their surroundings.
