So.... I'm under the impression that everyone wants the SAM/MNK body from the new 24 man for glamour purposes since its the only good looking set. Sucks for the SAM and MNK mains who need it as an actual upgrade.

The tank set looks ugly to me. So i will be rolling on the SAM/MNK set because of the vaan outfit. However I think this method pleases the JP community, but hopefully they will see the error of their request and change it back.
I think maybe the people saying it's going to cause people to go on their "main" have it a little backwards. When I saw the change I assumed it was to encourage people to go on the most needed roles, regardless of what they consider their main.
Granted there's no "adventurer in need" bonus for these, but the queue times were always bad for DPS and worse for tanks, and you'd be stuck with those times if you wanted specific gear. Now many people can go on a healer job, get a much faster queue time themselves, and decrease queue times for everyone else across the board as more groups are formed.
I don't know that this is a net gain or loss, of course, just like the development team obviously doesn't since they're trying it out. Just saying that I think the idea might be more along these lines.
cleared as RDM, outrolled both healers for chest piece, BRD won the tank chest that dropped. All gloves/boots hit the floor. Its going to be sloooooooow goings if you want the shirt/pants.
Ran as my main, Monk, was outrolled for both the MNK boots and the jacket. I officially hate this system.
wow on lockout week and people already losing to offspecs... whelp this is stupid as expected.
