Usually assassin's kind of classes requires a low & constant ping with no spikes for fast skill input (like mundras).

Can this class be played efficiently with say...200+ ms ping? or better stay away from this?
Can macroing mundras aliviate some of it?.....the 1.5 secs lost with the macro would still be better than a 20secs botched ninjitsu because the game didn't register one of your mundras?

If you lag you shouldn't play Ninja. It's more frustration than its worth. You'll miss mudras even if you input them, you'll miss jutsus, you'll misfire skills and wind up with the rabbit hat because the jutsu wont go through. You might miss combo links and have to redo them. None of the melee classes are lag friendly tbh.

Been playing DGN for months and I don't have big issues with it skill-wise (other than the occasional lag-spike that makes me eat an aoe even when I'm way outside it...which in DGN case = death lol)...but then again DGN doesn't have this many oGCD skills like NIN seems to have with mundras.

Drg lag problems are only kind of bad, Spike when a mob turns? Might not get HT buff or might mess up rear combo, lag too much? Combo's wont chain all the time or an OGCD might reset or go off later. Animation lock might happen a few seconds after hitting the move instead of right away.

For Monk too much lag = no gl3.

It all really depends on how often , hard, and badly you spike if you're lagging. But honestly if you lag pretty bad I wouldn't suggest playing any melee class. I don't really know if there's much in FF14 that IS lag friendly. Maybe bard.

Drg is semi playable in lag, Monk and Nin are pretty much unplayable.

Any other class less dependent on stability of connect than NIN. You can't spam mudra waiting for it to get through as you do on any other class because if mudra will be fired 2 times instead of one due to spamming - it means failed jutsu.
You have either choice of periodically misfire jutsu due to lags or wait for animation after each mudra that makes casting jutsu slow as hell.
