I'm currently on the free trial but interested in joining and letting someone refer me to get the bonus for it. Since this was the FC I had in mind when I picked a server, you guys get first dibs if someone from here wants the free stuff. :)

In terms of applying via the forums you need to register with enjin or log in your enjin account and then click the "JOIN VK" button on the top bar (it's to the right of the FORUM button)

Hello guys :) I started the game few days ago on a free trial account and i must say i really love it! I'm looking for a nice casual friendly Free Company to enjoy the game together. I do work night shifts so i will probably be on most of the time on afternoons and when i got my days off on evenings as well. I would like to experience everything the game has to offer. Atm im using the lv20cap of the free trial to try different classes, I already got a lancer and gladiator to 20 and now im working on conjuror and thaumaturge. The only thing is.. im playing on a PS4, will that be a problem regarding joining your guild? I use a wireless keyboard to chat and stuff and later on, if you use voice chat for grouping raid i can think of something or install a voip like teamspeak on my phone if its necessary.
Don't try to contact me yet as free trial dont allow to answer tells in game lol.

Playing on PS4 is not a problem at all quite a lot of the FC does and we do have a voice chat that seems to work well for PC & PS players, I don't use it myself so can't really comment much beyond it exists and works :p
We are the most active late afternoon till the early hours of the morning but there is generally always people about, I work shifts too and no matter what time I eventually log in there is always someone to talk too.
Just come by the house for a tour and someone will guide you to an officer, were at The Lavender Beds ward 3 plot 28.
Last thing if you ever see any VK lala's be sure to pet them they love it.

UPDATE 13/11/2015: RECRUITMENT CLOSED FOR NEXT 3 WEEKS
Hi all,
The last few weeks have been fantastic for Vagabond Knights. We've had our annual FC photoshoot and other successful fun social events.
We've also had a lot of applications in the last month or so.
We put a lot of emphasis on the integration of new Vagabond Knights into our fold and thus we have decided to close recruitment for the next 3 weeks so that we may get to know our new recruits, and they get to know the rest of us.
We'd rather do things this way and have an excellent quality of relationship between our members, which leads to our members helping each other out and having good FC chat and good environment, rather than just have a large number of anonymous members.
We will put out another announcement in this thread when we are ready to open recruitment again.
Apologies to anyone wishing to join in the meantime and thank you all in your interest in the Vagabond Knights!

BONUS! A little snippet on what we are about from our founder:
I started playing mmorpgs a little over 10 years ago and back then I played them like the job I didn't have yet at that age. There were strict event schedules, you had to play the class that was needed and you were expected to commit and make personal sacrifices for the good of your guildmates and the raid.
A lot of people play like this today, and there is nothing wrong with that. But for me personally, I've grown out of it.
I do have a job now in RL, I have a family that I commit and make personal sacrifices for. I still enjoy games, but I play them for fun, not for achievements of any kind. May they be gear, popularity or ingame fame.
When I log into FF:ARR I just want to enjoy what I believe is the best MMORPG for my playstyle and have fun with some nice, likeminded people.
That's why I created this Free Company, that's all there is to it really.

Hi. Im looking for a Fc to call home and you guys look just perfect. Played EQ2 for a long time at raid level but most of all we had fun. I made some good friends via the guild there.
I have been away from MMORPG for a while but came back and fancied something new. FF14 fills that role and has a mass of diversity that appeals to me. I am mid 40's with my own business and 3 kids etc etc but am online most evenings and would love the opportunity to be a part of your group.

If you (and/or others) are still interested, the easiest way is to fill in an application on the guilded website, or put a message in the FC message book at our house, which should give all officers a name to look out for.
Then it's just a matter of being online at the same time.
A bit sad that FFXIV is so - archaic, I guess, to put it kindly? - when it comes to recruitment :(

Vagabond Knights are still around and alive and open for recruitment. We remain true to our core goal of being a casual and laid back FC where you can play with others in a stress free and friendly environment, while avoiding the lack of familiarity that too large FCs can bring.
Some of us log every day, others a few times a week. Sometimes we're a bit quiet, other times there's no shutting us up. Things are run, crafting's done, and there's almost always an FC event after our weekly Saturday meeting - currently, we like treasure maps due to them being new and sparkly, but we do other things as well.
As I've mentioned earlier in this thread we don't check around these parts too often anymore, but if we sound interesting to you, don't be shy. Check out our Discord, swing by our FC house (located in the Lavender Beds, ward 3, plot 28) or throw one of the following people a tell/whisper:
