Can;t update NA/EU server list

Last night I got the dreaded 90000 bug while just trying to quest and couldn't log back on due to the being pull the NA/EU server lists. Today, tried to log on and still couldn't. Grr!

Just got in after about an hour of trying - had to log out completely and restart the game.

same problem :(

Update: Just saw the server list, waiting in queue as we speak!

Same issue on PC and PS3 still... ffs. My friends playing the game, and i am not, he's been online for ages though.

Same here, i was getting the "can't update NA/EU Severs list" error and logged just now -.-
Too many errors for a p4p mmorpg -.-

Was on Adamantoise Server (NA/EU), game was very laggy and then got booted with 90000 error. Since then, the NA/EU server list won't load even after a full system restart.

My, my. You have an unusual problem in your hands, Square Enix.

Chalk me up on the "unable to update NA/EU list" list. I think I'll provide some useful information.

Possible firewall: PeerBlock (allowed exception for all Square Enix IPs)

As for how I can keep my cool? If I'm seething mad, it's because of my own screwup.

EDIT: As of 3:07PM (Caracas Time), I did manage to access the server list. At the very least, this is far less annoying than launch...

well ive just been kicked from game and now cant update NA/EU servers so i went onto mogstation and it said i didnt have any characters whatsoever so i followed online application on it and ive been able to get be in game after resetting my console i hope this helps you guys

Friend got on ~2pm EST, but now I can't get server list etc. He's still logged in, on same connection, but I still can't get in. So assuming its just NA/EU server list...

I think they have bigger problems than just the log-in servers.

I got about five 90k errors and in a row and major lag around 10:30am PST. the login servers are probably getting hammered from all the people trying to relog.

I had just got back in. eaten my HQ Dagger soup (since the one I ate before I got 90000'd was lost) and they announced emergency maintenance. Hopefully this fixes it.

back on as well. All seem to be well again.

Still down. Why isn't there a "log in server" on the server status list? from there it looks like all servers are up, but nobody can actually login... that's pretty misleading.

:confused: Please, oh please, Fix the game. MMO's have been out for a long time, and will be out for many more. In order to keep yours live you must get on top of things. Sure every game has its bugs at the beginning, but never the same ones as others...except yours. Did you not learn from others mistakes? First really, really bad lag spikes, then I cant connect to the server? Why would I want to pay for a game I cant play? I really like the game, but if these bugs keep happening you are not going to last very long. :confused:

Restarted the client and got the NA/EU server list again. On PS3.

Same problem here. Played for a while yesterday, got disconnected, could log in again, but today I got lot of "Can't update NA/EU server list" erros.

As I was writing this the problem solved itself and the game let me log in to my character.

Please remember this seems to effect people at a different pace. I had logged in for about a minute, then logged all the way out for maybe two minutes, logged back in and this problem, all while talking to people who are able to log in no problems.

So, log in fine, log off, log back in to no NA/EU for about thirty minutes or so, log back in right now. (And by log out, I mean closing the entire thing out.)

For me, Yes, it is. Currently in Que of 24.

I got the 90k error last night as well, it said it was emergency maintenance and would take an hour, i went to sleep and now it only loads the JP servers and, I'm on Famfrit. Help Me! I'm Dying! This is worse than the poisoning of Doma! :P

Restarting to see if that helps (PC version).

i restart a game and everythig works.

We understand many of you are having difficulty accessing NA/EU servers. Rather than waiting for the list to refresh, please try completely closing your launcher, and then log in again. Doing this should make the list visible to you once again. If it does not, please let us know.

I can log on now. But I'm still getting 90k errors every 3mins =.=

And I'm out error 90000 again ; ;

cant believe a staff just posted something here at the tech board! thought they dont care about this board or any other eng boards at all.
