<404> Guild Not Found | Chill, Social, Kinda Silly

Hello, I'm currently onthe Hades server and me and some FC members are thinking of transferring to Behemoth and your FC caught my eye. All of us are over the age of 25 and I can speak Japanese (which is why I was on the JP server) but lately it's hard finding people in our timezone (NA EST) :( (And also the culture barrier is starting to make it nearly impossible to clear things like coil or extreme primals.) Our current FC is rank level 7 but we'd have to leave it behind obviously. Rather than recreating the FC (its only 9 people atm anyway) I guess we're looking to just join an existing one instead.

Currently I main ilvl 84 scholar and husband has ilvl 80 warrior/78 paladin. Our friends are still trying to get to 50 and not sure if our Ilvl 75ish black mage will come with us but most likely she will. Not sure how crowded Behemoth is for us to be able to transfer, but I figured I'd ask beforehand anyway! Also, 4 of us are lalafells :D lol We'd probably transfer within the next week or so.

Edit: forgot to mention I don't use teamspeak (we usually use skype) but I guess we could for raids and such? It's definitely easier to voice chat. Is TS free?_? Ive never used it before. Also I'm certain one of our members doesn't even have a microphone so I have no idea if she'd even be able to use it in the first place. I hope this is not a mandatory requirement for all members?

We're all for people transferring to play with us. That's pretty cool anyways, but at this time we're not looking to take any large groups. We are really trying to keep the sense of a community going. We want everyone to know everyone and to really get comfortable around one another. Bringing in a group of 9 just wouldn't be very conducive to that small community feeling that we're trying to build up.

I really appreciate the interest though and I would argue that Behemoth is the best server in this game due to the players on it. Check around. I'm sure there are other groups out there that are looking for mergers and things like that. I know Dark Hour was not too long ago, but I'm not sure of their current status. Good luck in your hunt though and have fun in Eorzea no matter where you land =D

I doubt all 9 of us would transfer but definitely at least 5 and that's totally cool I appreciate the response and I'll look around elsewhere thank you!

404 D&D Night tonight! Our second session of D&D is going down tonight and I'm really excited for it. Can't wait to see where our campaign takes us this time.

It took us to a weird place where we planted Goblins on a farm...Looking forward to keeping an eye out on the Goblin crops in the next year, hopefully we have harvest some new Goblin babies next winter.

Hey.. we'll be laughing next year when the goblin havest comes in and we make a killing!

Congrats to Twizzler & Masha last night as we helped them pick up their first relics =D

Relaxing little Saturday night with the guildies. Got to meet some of the new folks which was awesome. Also got through a rather derpy CT run... all in good fun... i think haha.

That was pretty fun and exciting last night! My favorite part is that we were joking and being goofy as hell the entire Coil run. Nothing like running around Twintania's Arena like a bunch of people with their heads on fire just for fun hahaha

Man, Way In The North was a humongous disappointment, ugh. Couldn't even run the first level without my computer crashing.

I'm digging the new patch, although I'm very disappointed with the way the telegraphs work now, I really wish they had just copied Wildstar's :(

Chivalry was a damn good time last ngiht. I think we all died way more than we killed anything, but such is the nature of a game that I'm at least terrible at hahah. Nice job all!

You FC sounds like just what I'm looking for. Older players who are socially fun and not restrictive. Used to play XI hardcore but now that i have a fiancée and a real job, a life outside the computer cave takes some time.

Hey there Geracia2, not 1... I've heard bad things about 1. 2 seems alright though. Anyways we do not discriminate based on platform, but I'm also a big fan of full disclosure so I want to make sure you understand that we do require the ability to get on TS from time to time to hang out. It's important to us and we want to make sure that you'll get along with the community. Building a community is the #1 priority for us so please make sure you have the ability to talk with us like everyone else does.

Also we're a multi-game community with most of those games being on PC. We definitely have members on PS3/PS4 but I wouldn't want you to feel left out when we play other PC games together.

Hopefully that helps and good luck with wherever you end up!

Just to add to that, you can get Teamspeak on a phone or tablet (One of our PS3 players used it like that until he upgraded his PC and now he plays on there) so you can hang out on TS while you play on your PS4.

Thanks for the info guy and gal! I think I'll start a LS and FC for PS4 players. i want to alleviate any stress on new PS4 players to the game and give them a place to progress together. Thanks for the info on TeamSpeak, it looks like the app is a little unreliable but hopefully i can use it for something in the future.

As interesting as your FC sounds and I would like to apply but the necessary voice chat is a hinderance for me unfortunately. While I can listen in on chat, I cannot speak myself. My headset and mic work just fine, it's just that my wife doesn't like that too much :p

I'm also still on my free month for FF14 but currently I see myself sticking around for a while yet. Good luck in finding more members for your family :D

Thanks a ton for checking us out anyways Failia and good luck with your time in Eorzea. It's always nice to know people are digging the kind of community we're setting up. We do have the mandatory voice chat because we kind of use TS as our hub of activity so it just works out for us.
