To be fair, the vast majority of PCs AND NPCs look to be in their mid- to late-teens. You have to work HARD to make your character look at all old. This is a JRPG! If you're twenty, you're already a grizzled war veteran, ready to pass on your sword to the next generation...

Yeah, the Japanese are a little weird with their youth fixation. I understand the design and all. What I don't understand and find creepy are those Americans that find Miqotes sexy (unless they're teenagers too). They look like pre-teens! You know what's sexy? Highlander females! Hips! Bust!
