u realize their number is NOT toll free right? so that will do nothing but run up your phone bill just for them to tell you that they can't give you anything.

From the page where they give you the 20 digit code:
"Input this code, when prompted, after logging in to the game for the first time.
Alternatively, please go here to redeem the code."
But if we dont have an active account (because we cant input the code), then how would you expect us to login first then input the code?
Hello all,
I too am having a Wrong Region issue - I'm an old 1.0 PC Owner with only 2 months played time (so i'm not legacy)... I decided to pre-order the PC version to gain Early Access, in-game loot, and help support FFXIV... I do not own a PS3, so pre-ordering that version was not an option...
After receiving my pre-order code, I rushed to input it on the website - I was met with many error 3s... I've since beaten the error 3 and was given an RAAE code, only I'm NA - So I need an RAAU...
So now I'm left with 2 questions after looking on the internet far and wide for a fix...
1) even if I was to get an RAAU code, would I be able to register for EA since they're both PC accounts?
2) how the hell am I supposed to get an RAAU code instead of my RAAE? I've attempted all the fixes, attempted to contact Square (which is nigh impossible, btw), and everything else under the sun...
This is beyond disheartening... I played FFXI for over 7 years and would have played FFXIV much longer during 1.0 (especially towards the end when Yoshi took over), but I was deployed as a USMC infantry-man during majority of it's stay...
So Square, when are we gonna hear something official to these questions?
If this helps, here's the Square Enix phone number for the United States. The representative was able to assist me.

What about us people that got automatically redirected to the EU website and orded a key through them, are we able to contact support and exchange it for a NA key or what? fuckk!
They need to give an official answer about this. A call to SE from where I live would cost more than the game itself.
Has anyone tried entering their PSN code now that it's back up?
It works killergerms. If you ordered through the NA SE store, you should have gotten an email with the serial number. Put the order # you received in the email and your account password. Cancel the order, submit reason, go to the NA SE store, re-order the game, receive a new code, and it should be an NA code, and you're set for Early Access.
Not an option for me because I'm getting PS3 physical CE copy from Amazon and it's sold out.
I bought off greenmangaming.com. It was mentioned as the NA version and they confirmed me the code is indeed from NA.
SE is the only one who can help me and others in such case :( May God have mercy on our souls
Unfortunately that doesn't apply to digital versions, since payment has already been taken.
What about us people that accidently got re-directed to purchasing the EU digital version? Can we contact support and get our keys switched?
I was hoping this joke of support would get their crap together and do some proper fixing of the issues that their stupid, convoluted system caused without resorting to re-ordering the game. At least I know to expect sub-par service from them in the future.
Before I go, I got another response from their support about the issue. It was the same response as the one I got yesterday.
Proof positive that they don't even read the detailed information that you include when submitting a support ticket.Quote:
Thank you for contacting the Square Enix Support Center
We apologize for any inconvenience in this matter. The issue regarding the region of registration codes has been resolved. Please retry your code again at the beta registration code page for your proper region.

Thanks,

I let them have it in the support survey they sent me. That'll show 'em.
(This is a repost from page 17... If anyone knows the answers to one of my two questions, please answer)

Sorry about the late reply (I see you already got your problem solved too, sweet) I ordered through gamestop. I believe what the clerk did was cancel my preorder and issue a new one. So I guess that's another one proving the method suggested by Calastir works, on standard copies anyways.
From what I understand, (and I could be completely wrong on this so don't take my word for it) the code we were issued will continue to give the wrong region till SE gets around to fix it. So you can either wait till SE gets around to your particular code and fixes it (at which point you can go back to the preorder site and it will give the right code) or you can get a new one by doing what Calastir previously suggested in this thread which is essentially cancelling then preordering again. Keep in mind that there's no guarantee your new code won't be another of those bad codes going around.
I apologize if I further confused anyone with this post but this was my experience and just as previous posts in this thread helped me maybe this will help someone aswell.
wondered If can pre-order from NA SE store get the code and cancelled it?
while I already pre-ordered from greenmangaming.
Omg it worked I got a raau code!!!! I love you
